Thank you! We had such a great vacation, your place was even better than we had imagined from seeing the pictures! And the island is simply amazing, from the beaches to the shopping, to the restaurants and the nightlife, it was a perfect mix of R&R and entertainment. And last but not least, your condo has this charm that not even our own place has! We loved the solitude, yet after finding our way around the island for a week realize there's no better place; private, safe and comfortable, yet conveniently close to some of our favorite places on the island! (Magen's Bay, Drake's Seat, and Red Hook). See you soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a great time staying at the Sunrise Serenade condo in Mahogany Run. The views of the ocean and surronding islands are fabulous. The condo is beautifully decorated and the area is very serene. We took walks everyday and barely ever saw cars on the road.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

My family stayed at Sunrise Serenade during Christmas week and had an incredible time. You can't go wrong staying at this lovely condo located in the gated Mahogany Run community - the views are breathtaking, the unit is clean, comfortable and well-furnished. We went to Magens Bay a few times, which is a short drive from Mahagony Run, and brought the beach chairs and towels that were provided in the unit. I am so glad we brought the beach chairs since Magens was so crowded that week, there were not even any beach chairs available for rent. When we returned from the beach with our belongings all covered in the sand, the condo is equipped with a hose outside that was perfect for rinsing off all the sand and drying things out. It was also nice having a washer/dryer in the unit which was very convenient and made it easy for us to pack light. The unit also has window air condition units in the bedrooms and living room which we used on occasion, but the breeze kept the unit quite cool and comfortable. There are lots of wonderful restaurants on St. Thomas so we did not do much cooking, but from what I could tell, the kitchen looked well-stocked and there is a barbecue grill on the patio. Sunrise Serenade is very peaceful and is a great place to relax. I highly recommend this unit for your stay in beautiful St. Thomas. You will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Hi Jeff and Bonnie, We just got back last night from your beautiful condo in St.Thomas. The views out your front balcony are awesome. How pretty to wake up each morning and look at several islands right in front of you and beautiful blue water !!! We felt right at home in the condo. It was nice to be able to cook and wash clothes just like we were home- of course we didn't do that all of the time :) It was really nice being able to use all of the beach items. One day, we packed a picnic lunch in the cooler you provided and packed up the beach chairs, beach towels, and noodles and headed to St.John. We had such a nice picnic lunch on one of the beaches over there. Another day, we chartered a sail boat and went out of St.Thomas. I cannot express enough how pretty the water is and the beaches. Magen's bay is right around the corner and is so pretty. We really enjoyed our stay and are finding ourselves not believing that we were just there yesterday and are back home now. We loved the modern furnishings in the condo and especially liked all of the different types of fish and deco on the walls. We don't miss the traffic there (or all of the speed bumps and pot holes), but do miss the amazing weather and beautiful water and beaches. Thanks for everything. Go Saints !!! Hope you are still following them and keeping that New Orleans spirit alive !!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Amazing! Awesome! Fantastic! What else can be said about this truly welcoming, perfectly appointed, incredibly-stocked condo. Ah! yes, the views! The serenity one feels sitting on the terraces looking out at the sea and the islands is indescribable! Thank you, Bonnie and Jeff, for thinking about all the items one would need for an island vacation-- snorkel gear (for all ages!), sand toys, beach towels, beach chairs, And yes, the big golf umbrellas did come in handy for those rainy days! St Thomas is a wonderful island with great food and great beaches. The condo is a perfect home-base for exploring the many treasures of this island. My family and I highly recommend this property. This condo truly is a home away from home! Can't wait to return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friend and I recently returned from spending the month of June at at this property, and it was absolutely wonderful.-lovely breezes through-out the apartment, no A.C. needed, and a large, delightful balcony to enjoy the magnificent view. Inside it was lovely as well, beautifully maintained, and so very comfortable. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything one could possibly need for a truly great island vacation, from beach chairs to most importantly a well appointed kitchen. We are already planning and looking forward to our visit next year..Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our family has been to St Thomas several times, we have stayed with friends and timeshares (MagensPoint Resort), but this condo truly made you feel like you were at home, the pictures displayed on the website are only a small view of what you get staying here. The accommodations were excellent, very clean, everything was well-maintained, the amenities and supplies left by the owners for your personal use were top-notch; from the personal supplies (soap, shampoo, detergent and paper products) right down to the snorkeling gear, beach chairs and bottled water. Also, we always recommend renting a vehicle and make sure you stay LEFT, you get use to it very quickly. Make sure you visit Magen's Bay Beach which has always been our favorite, Sapphire Beach for snorkeling. Visit Carrigas, which is a little open-air bar and Randy's Bistro for fine-dining. Visit St John via the ferry in Red Hook/drive your car right on board. Beaches to visit in St John are of course Trunk Bay, Maho Bay and Cinnamon Bay. Make sure you stop at Skinny Legs for a Burger and a beer. The weather was and always is terrific on the island. We definitely enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again. Thanks Again to Bonnie and Jeff (the owners) and to Pete/Suzanne.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My sister and I just returned from staying at Sunset Serenade for about 10 days. Our sunburns have finally stopped itching but our memories are burning brightly. The condo is beautifully situated overlooking the water. We spent many hours on the patio reading and watching the clouds, rainbows pelicans and frigate birds. We took so many pictures from that view that it got to be a joke -- cloud picture #98, coming up. The beds are both very comfortable and the bedrooms rooms are nice and large, with a balcony off each bedroom. The air conditioners kept the humidity under control and temperatures comfortable in the bedrooms, although the living room unit had a hard time cooling the larger space sometimes. We did have a problem with the sound on the living room TV (there's also a small TV in one bedroom) so we called the realtor and he was there in minutes. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. We enjoyed grilling pork chops and steaks on the big grill on the patio. The "sports closet" is loaded with snorkel gear, beach towels, beach chairs and other items we happily put to good use. Mahogany Run is a beautiful property and I enjoyed the pool there. The Grill, a restaurant in the club house, is excellent. We stopped by and asked for root beer floats after a hot day. It wasn't on the menu but they made them anyway -- delicious! We also had two evening meals there as well -- great steaks and seafood as well as imaginative appetizers. Our favorite beach was Secret Harbour -- not easy to find but well worth the search. Snorkeling was gorgeous. Driving on St. Thomas is an adventure. It was fairly easy to adjust to driving on the left because the cars have left-sided steering wheels (like in the States) but the roads are twisty, turny, hilly, narrow and rough, and the road signs are few and far between. Top speed is 35 mph and I doubt if we ever reached it. People give directions by land marks. Expect to get lost and just enjoy the view. If you're brave enough, try the fish and chips Friday night at the Toad and the Tart. It looks like a dive but the food is great. We also liked the East End Bistro and the Blue Moon at Secret Harbour -- great french fries! Thank you to Bonnie for the great home away from home! Everyone we met was helpful, welcoming and proud of their home in paradise.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
