Absolutely Perfect!

Our stay here was perfect in every way. The house was immaculate, comfortable, and extremely well equipped. It was such a good feeling to come "home" for the evening after a great day of hiking or sightseeing. The owner and property manager are the best, very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do in every direction, we couldn't begin to cover it all in a single week and have already reserved ten days here in 2012. Looking forward to next year already!

This is one terrific vacation rental! The location is great for the entire SE section of Utah and the four corners area. So much to see and do you wont be dissapointed. The home was perfect- everything you want in a vacation home. The owners are great to work with and have thought of everything you might need. The backyard has excellent views and the neighborhood is very quiet and the townsfolk are friendly to outsiders. We hope to stay here again when we return to the area. Thanks for everthing!

What a great place for our Utah trip!

We were here for six weeks and found it an excellent place for research and as a base for sight seeing. We loved Monticerllo, the town and people. Its central location in southeast Utah meant we were able to take advantage of many nearby sights. The home was well equipped; we had everything we needed. The owner and property manager were jewels. They provided prompt answers to our questions. We quipped that it was like having our own support staff. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

This was my family's third visit to the S.E. Utah area, and we've never had a better time!! The property was beautiful, well stocked, and exactly as described. We saw deer and wild turkey right out the back door every day! The property is perfectly situated for all of our excursions. We visited Canyonlands (Needles and Island in the Sky), Arches, Mesa Verde, Four Corners, and Natural Bridges. Wagon Wheel Pizza in Monticello was terrific! We will definitely be back!

The New Forest Four

We toured the Arizona/Utah area for a month during May/June 2010 and stayed in this particular home in May 2010 for three nights (wished we had had longer). We found the house delightful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was absolutely spotless. The beds comfortable and the rest of the house relaxing and just what we needed. Sitting outside, the view was so peacefull and a couple of mule deer even visited a few times. I personally loved the quirky notes/placards Beverley had left around the home. We visited the Canyon Lands and Four Corners on this particular trip (it is also within easy reach of Newspaper Rock and the mountain is also well worth a visit) and found it an ideal location. Had we known about this house two years ago, we would have had no hesitation in renting it again. Beverley was such a lovely "landlady", making the whole process so easy. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your so homely home. Debbie, Brian, Lin & Fred New Forest, UK .

From the street, this property is not much to look at but once inside, one immediately senses the care the owners have taken to make your stay enjoyable. Hands down, this was the cleanest and most well equipped rental I have ever stayed at. My sister and our two teenage nieces occupied the place for 4 nights and had plenty of space for our needs. The glassed in dining room afforded a wonderful view of the golf course and surrounding countryside and we were very warm despite less than ideal weather. We enjoyed watching the deer at close range and a parade of wild turkeys across the fairway. The neighborhood was quiet and the few neighbors we saw were friendly. The owners were most helpful with answering our questions honestly and offering suggestions of what to see and do. We highly recommend the drive down towards Mexican Hat, Moki Dugaway,Muley Point. Gooseneck State Park and Edge of the Cedars State Park. We also visited Mesa Verde. Definitely coming back. If you like horseback riding, the folks at Canyon Trails Ranch out of Cortez were fabulous, taking us on a 3 hr ride up to some ruins at a decent rate. The reasonable rate of this rental made our vacation possible so thanks again and we hope to be back soon.

What a great time we had, thank you for letting us use your beautiful home. The house was in wonderful condition and incredibly well equipped. We cooked all of our meals, including our Thanksgiving dinner, and never once lacked any equipment or appliance. We slept like logs and ate like pigs! What more can one ask of vacation?! The place was perfectly situated for our outings to Arches, Canyonlands and Mesa Verde. We really enjoyed the view, the resident deer and the gorgeous hike on the golf course to the elusive reservoir! We will recommend your house heartily to any of our friends traveling to the 4-corner region, and should we come again, we will be begging you to let us in again!

Our second visit to this vacation home was even better than the first. Comfortable, convenient, great views over the golf course and mountains, with lovely walks just out the door. And Monticello is a wonderful place from which to make side trips to all the area sights. We also appreciated the prompt and cordial attention of the owners.

Our visit was late April '08. House was well equipped and immaculate with everything you need at your fingertips; neighborhood very quiet and welcoming. Monticello was a great base for visits to Canyonlands NP, Arches NP, Mesa Verde NP, Capital Reef NP, Four Corners. We would highly recommend this great property for great value!

We highly recommend this property. The house was charming, clean, and very comfortable. The deck has a nice view of the Abajos, as well as friendly neighborhood cats who visit. Monticello is an excellent base for hikes in the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park.

We were so happy with our accommodations!! The house is neat and spotless. All furnishings, flooring, etc look brand new. We had four adults, one child, and one baby and all fit there no problem! It was an excellent location for our adventure - while there, we went to Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, Canyonlands and Natural Bridges. Price was excellent and so much better than a motel/hotel. We highly recommend this lovely home!!!! FANTASTIC!!

This sweet little house was our base for visits to Arches NP and Canyonlands in April 2008. It was a pleasant 50 mile drive to each location. The owner equipted this property with her guests' comfort in mind. It had everything we needed and more. Very reasonably priced.

While planning our Utah trip, we decided we wanted to visit Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, and the Indian ruins near Cortez CO. Monticello was an excellent choice. All of our destinations were within 75 minutes. We were very pleased with the house. We felt comfortable immediately. The homeowners and folks caring for the house made sure all our needs were met. We really enjoyed our chats with them. We are already thinking about a return visit.
