Nestled in the quiet, safe, and exclusive residential Country Club Estates on the north side of the island, Hacienda MonteCristo is a true work of art. Its architecture of domes & arches is a brilliant reflection of the Mexican and Mediterranean style that has enchanted visitors from around the world.

HMC is conveniently located only a five minute ride from town & within walking distance of the Nicklaus-designed PGA golf course. Our sandy beach is one house away. It is literally a one minute walk. At the beach, kick up your feet & relax because it's one of the most private and quiet beaches the island has to offer. Perhaps splash around & have a drink at our beautiful fresh water pool beforehand.

Lazy mornings can be spent reading a book in a hammock on one of our private terraces, or sipping coffee while watching the cruise ships come in.

Casa Alegria offers 2 bedrooms each with private bathrooms and balconies. We have a fully equiped kitchen and full dining room. We also offer a separate living room and TV area.

We offer free WiFi so bring your laptops to keep in touch with folks back home, and we also offer free cellphone use for local island calls.

We have a great DVD and book collection if you can spare the time. Our guests are usually too busy or tired from a fun-filled day.

Why the Owner Chose Cozumel Island

We chose our home Casa Alegria because we have been diving in several places but we've never felt at home like we do in Cozumel. We love the island, the people, the food, and the culture. Our home's location is just perfect, close enough to town but not too close. Quiet, peaceful, perfect.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium - Duplex

We love having a condo in HMC for many reasons. Its just so unique unlike the many cookie-cutter condos on the island. It has tons of character and charm. We used to stay in all-inclusive resorts but having a condo gives us the opportunity to cook and try new things and experience the island the way it should be. Now when we go to town, everyone knows us. Its a great feeling. A feeling of being home.

My husband and I are originally from NY but now reside in NJ, USA and we absolutely love Cozumel. We love to dive and there's no place that we love more. We plan to retire early so that we can enjoy our vacation home year round.

    • I would to say, it was one of the best vacacations my family and I have had in a long time.The space and location of the unit,was wonderful.Only a 5 min. ride into town,with great shops and wonderful restaurants.The grounds were a hit with the kids,great pool and stones throw to the ocean.The unit was comfortable, clean and very spacious.It was the best bang for my buck,in a long time.My family and I will be back.

    • This condo was awesome!! Great distance to and from town and only 1 block to the ocean! Condo has a small pool, we would spend the mornings there and then walk down to the beach, which was almost private, not many people at all. We appreciated all of the help of the managers, Laurie was great. Met some great neighbors that were extremely helpful and fun. Very quiet area to retreat to. Great place will stay again!! Thanks Angelica!
