Five phenomenal golf courses within 20 minutes of the house, a hot tub, wine tasting, the beach and a beautiful view of the Hood Canal; its perfect for everyone!
Tucked away between the majestic Hood Canal and dark green-forested hills that surround this pristine area of the Hood Canal. This 2400 sq ft newly remodeled and fully furnished home offers travelers a great escape from the city. With personally selected furnishings you will feel at home while on vacation; whether it be the full kitchen, 42’ flat panel TV or brand new hot tub that has an unobstructed view of the water.
Whether you are looking for a place in the summer or winter, the house has central heating and air conditioning. Nothing beats a great fire though; a gas fireplace in the living room or a fire pit on our adjoining empty lot, its perfect for roasting marshmallows.
As you walk into the house the first thing you will notice is the dining room table positioned so that you are able to eat and enjoy the view. On the main floor there is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed. A full bathroom, washer and dryer, the kitchen and living room are also located on the first level. Walk out to the partially covered deck from the dining area. Perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee on a rainy morning or grill up some fresh seafood on the gas BBQ.
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with a queen size bed and private deck. The master bathroom is enormous and has his and her sinks. The second floor also has an additional bedroom with a convertible bed and the 42’ TV and DVD player.
Stay in and watch a movie one night, relax at the Alderbrook Spa or explore the Hood Canal in Kayaks the next day. The opportunities for activities are endless. If you are a golfer, you are minutes away from the exquisite Alderbrook Golf Course and the unknown Lake Cushman Golf Course. Don’t forget to check out the Hoodsport Winery, a locally owned winery that is just ten miles up the road.
Enjoy the local amenities and attractions that this area has to offer. Whether it is the brand new family grocery store in Hoodsport, the Hoodsport Coffee Company or the delightful Robin Hood Restaurant in Union.

The owners of this home live in Seattle and in Vancouver, BC. We share this place because we love to be together on our vacations, and Union is just the absolute most amazing place we have found that we all enjoy!
Why the Owner Chose Union
Union is a very quiet little place, in what seems to be the middle of nowhere, about 1 hour away from Seattle by ferry. It has everything anyone could ever want--great people, great wine, great outdoors activities, and a fairly major resort nearby to enjoy spa services and people from all over the world. What we have found after being in Union for 3 years is that the people here are phenomenal, and the food is spectacular almost anywhere you go near us. It may be a quiet little town, but there is certainly a lot of access to big city action.
