If you dream of a secluded, private, peaceful, beachfront home(not a hotel, condo or duplex) on a tropical Caribbean island, Casa Hol Chan is the place. CHC is a 2 story, 2 bedroom,solid pour concrete, beachfront home set on 10 foot columns with 2 verandas. Most rental homes only have air conditioning in the bedrooms, CHC also has AC in the living area, as well as bedrooms. Remember this is a tropical island & AC in the livingroom/kitchen can be important! CHC is 3.5 - 4 miles south of San Pedro Town, a quaint fishing village with restaurants, shopping & entertainment. CHC has ocean views from almost every room. The home is bright, decorated in island decor and filled with paintings and art work from local artists. Mahogany woodwork is throughout the home. CHC is air conditioned and has a full kitchen with everything you need, should you decide to eat at home. We also have a local charcoal grill.CHC sleeps 6 comfortably. Both bedrooms have mattress & box springs (which is not always the case on the island). The master bedroom has a queen bed & a veranda overlooking the Caribbean, with sundeck.The second bedroom has twin beds & couch converts to full bed. CHC has customized baths with handmade mahogany cabinets, blue glass block & hand painted tile of tropical fish & coral. CHC is secluded, yet close enough for you to go to restaurants, stores & entertainment. A store & local restaurant is just down the road.
The view is unbelizable any time of day. CHC is 3 stories high & has 2 verandas,one off the master brm (3 stories up) & 1 off the living area, so the view is amazing.- it sits on 10 ft columns & has 2 stories. Start the day with Belizian coffee & breakfast on the veranda, overlooking the azure sea. Sit on the veranda in the ocean breeze & have fresh grilled lobster overlooking the Caribbean. The nights are peaceful & as beautiful as the day, with a black velvet sky & stars so bright you could almost touch them. They say your heart never leaves, once you've been down to Belize! Want a picnic on the beach? We also have a lovely shady, breezy, oceanfront picnic area with a great ocean view under CHC with a grill & picnic table.
Walk out the front door to the beach. Don't forget snorkel & fishing gear! Bonefish congregate around the dock. Try your hand casting for them right off the dock! CHC is adjacent to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, which is famous for diving. Tour boats and fishing charter boats will pick you up at the pier. Manager can help with arrangements for golf cart rental (before you get here) and tours. Manager is just a phone call away during your entire stay, should you need anything. Manager lives in San Pedro and has extensive knowledge of Belize. If you need anything just ask my manager.
Arrangements for taxi pick-up from/to air port can be arranged for a fee, as well as golf cart, kayak & bike rental.

Why the Owner Chose San Pedro
Casa Hol Chan is located 3.5 - 4 miles south of San Pedro Town. It is in a beautiful, secluded, serene & peaceful area, yet it's close enough for you to go to town for dinner, shopping or entertainment. Unlike the north part of the island, you do not need to pay a toll to go over a bridge to get back & forth to town. The trip to & from town on a golf cart is one of our favorite things to do, the scenery is beautiful & driving an open golf cart on a sand road is just fun! It's amazing the things you see on the way to & from town.

1- CHC has Air Conditioning in the kitchen & living area, as well as the bedrooms. Many rental homes only have AC in the bedrooms. On a tropical island, it can be very nice to have AC in the kitchen & living area.
2- The beds are comfortable US style beds, not a mattress on a hard board, as in a lot of rental homes.
3- The view at Casa Hol Chan is unbeatable.CHC has 2 verandas, one off the living area & 1 off the master bedroom. Since CHC is on 10 ft columns & is 2 stories high, 1 veranda is 2 stories high & the other is 3 stories high.
