This lovely, upscale, first floor, 2 bed/2 bath AND den with 1 car garage condo is decorated in the Tommy Bahama style with very comfortable couches, chairs and beds and every convenience one desires in order to relax on a vacation. The dining area seats 6 and has a beautiful view of the lake and then the 5th green and sandtraps.
Our lanai faces due west. Sitting in the enclosed lanai, ceiling paddle fan on, favorite beverage in hand, golfers on the green and the Florida sun setting in the West is a very enjoyable experience. The Southwest Florida sunsets are truly beautiful. There are binoculars in the unit and a bird book so that renters can view the white egrets, great blue herons, wood storks, roseate spoonbills, pelicans turtles, etc. and other varied and numerous wild life that abound in the lake and nearby palm trees. A men's and women's bicycles are there for your use.
Ceiling fans in all the rooms, (along with central air conditioning) add atmosphere as well additional cooling ability for your comfort. We look forward to sharing our home with you!
Pelican Sound, a 24 hour, guard gated community, is just 4 minutes away from the newly opened, large & lovely Tuscan Vilage-style Coconut Pointe Mall with such restaurants as Ruth's Chris Steak House, The Blue Water Grille, Bice Italian Restaurant, Starbuck's etc. and such first rate stores as Coach, Tommy Bahama, Ralph Lauren, and so much more.
Our Mediterranean style 18,ooo sq ft. main clubhouse is the focal point of Pelican Sound with formal and casual dining. Evening activities can include dances, poker nights, chess, bridge, book club, knitting group, Politics club, investments club, comedy nights, theme dinners etc. We have 27 championship holes of golf, 6 lighted Har-Tru tennis courts and 7 pools throughout that one can enjoy. The River Club is a 5000 sq foot restaurant designed for casual and outdoor dining. It has a sport's bar with several large TVs plus a large fitness center and a 2400 sq foot heated pool. Just beyond the club is the boat launch and dock where residents can catch the shuttle to our private beach. There are canoes and kayaks that residents can use on the river to leisurely watch the natural wildlife, explore the various inlets, fish or just get some exercise.
