This villa in the fabulous Plantation Golf and Country Club of Venice Florida is very hard to beat. The Clubside neighborhood is gated and private but within walking distance of the Clubhouse, golf course, fitness room, pools, tennis, bocci, grill, restaurant and ballroom. If you are a golfer you will be amazed by the quality of the TWO PGA courses. The Villa itself is fully furnished with comfortable, newish, clean and inviting furniture. The living room features a large couch (sofa bed), a love seat, two leather chairs, and two occasional chairs. A large TV with a VCR and DVD are in the living room. Also, at one side of the living room is a hand-made red oak table with bent back chairs--reminds you a little of the English countryside. The living room is stocked with board games, cards, movies to watch and CD's to listen to. The kitchen has a new side-by-side refrigerator and a lovely place to eat near the bay window. You may choose to eat on the lanai overlooking the golf course. The extra large lanai features several sitting areas and borders some wonderful trees which harbor lovely birds and wildlife.

The master bedroom had a comfy king-sized bed, a dresser and chest, and ample night tables and lamps. There's a large TV, VCR and DVD, too. The master bath features two sinks, a large shower, and a circulating spa tub. A large walk in closet makes for easy storage. The second bedroom had a queen sized murphy bed which is very comfortable. Storage surrounds the bed and a nice closet is also in the room. There's a desk and table and an outlet for computer hook up if you desire.

You could spend all your time in the relaxing living room but you'll find there's lots to do if you never leave the Plantation Golf and Country Club grounds. The two wonderful golf courses will have you raving. The Clubhouse has just been redecorated and the new chef is fantastic. There's a pool in your neighborhood, just three doors away. There's also a large pool and hot tub at the Clubhouse which features a bar. You can be a part of the social events at the Club--dinners, parties, pool parties, bocci ball, dances, and lectures.

Plantation Golf and Country Club is truly a magical place. People who come to visit often come back for years and many times become owners. You won't find a more welcoming and warm place to spend your vacation. The immediate neighbors are friendly and a social event is held each month in the neighborhood clubhouse. You'll be invited!!

  • Wonderful pristine beaches feature "shark tooth capital of the world." Beautiful shells and loads of Sharks Teeth. Villa is equipped with two bicycles, beach chairs and towels, beach toys, Venice "show shovels" for sharks teeth hunting. The villa also features a library of all sorts of books. Venice boasts several fabulous radio stations for classics, oldies, and easy listening.
