We spent five nights in this house in mid-November 2011 with two other couples for our 10th anniversary. The house layout is nice, with a big open common room, nice kitchen, and nice master suite, but it's only 3 bathrooms, not the 5 listed in the header or the 4 mentioned in the confirmation we got when we booked. If that was the only issue, we would have had a nice experience. However, the trip was plagued with maintenance issues on the house. Between an empty propane tank and a broken heater unit, we didn't have a functioning hot tub until the fourth night of the trip. On the second morning, a guest bathroom toilet started leaking on the floor and sewer waste backed up into the shower. The clogs and leaks got fixed within two days, but the shower was too filthy to use, forcing one couple to share a bathroom with others. (The fourth/fifth bathroom would have come in handy...). Note that the house is also technically within walking distance of the beach, but since it's close to a half-mile, don't plan on walking if you have things to carry with you. It should be noted that Ken (the property manager) was responsive to our requests to get things fixed, but the continuous maintenance problems just detracted from what was supposed to be a relaxing week. After the trip, the owners refunded $375 of the cost, but half a day of refund doesn’t make up for a very disappointing experience.
