THE OTHER CAN BE SEEN AT VRBO #348594 AND # 125145. This one has plenty of room to dock the boat on the 70 foot concrete dock. There are no low street bridges to get under and it's just one canal from the open water. We provide all towels, linens, and cooking utensils. The large lot allows plenty of room for parking. CLOSE TO THE PRIME LOBSTERING IN CONTENT KEYS

Big Pine is known for the wildlife including the famous Key Deer. The Keys World class fishing is just minutes away. Come down during Lobster season (August 6 to March 30), and you can get them in the shallow waters with snorkel gear. This property is a great location to access the Content Keys, which are known for big lobster in shallow water. If Big Pine gets too quiet for you, Key West is just 25 miles south.

Big Pine also has the largest shopping center between Marathon and Key West. No long hikes to the food store on this island. The shopping center is just 8 minutes from the house.

We believe that having a pool in the Keys is a must. This property has a solar pool heater. The pool is 2 years new. Our rates include, weekly pool service, electric with limits, phone, cable, and snow removal.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second has two twin beds, the third has one twin. There is also one full sized air mattress.

A POOL is a must have in the Keys. Once you stay at a place with a pool, there is no turning back. It is also on a boating canal. Tie up to the 70 foot dock and you can jump in the boat any time from your own back yard. The house is a stones throw away from open water. Its located in Port Pine Heights which is well known for the many Key deer and peaceful setting.

I do most of the fix up work myself. This one is the best price you will find for a 3 bedroom, canal front pool house in the lower Keys.#125145 ALSO HAS A POOL And is priced RIGHT. Dont be a fool, rent the house with a pool:) FREE snow removal with every rental.

Inadequate A/C system, owner made us pay!

Our stay at this home was decent, but the air conditioning system could not keep the house cool, and we never put the system below 78. It was to our horror that the owner withheld part of our deposit to offset the electric bill, so prepare to not get your deposit back on this one. They make it look and sound cheap, but I'm fairly certain with only one review posted from the coldest month of the year that they are withholding deposits of many others. It would be advisable that the owner put notice of withholding deposits for high electric bills on this site, rather than inform you in writing when you arrive - that is how we knew his intentions, did our best to keep lights off and the temperature steady (we turned a/c off for a day trip, and it was absolutely impossible to cool the house down until that night). Since the owner will probably be the only one that reads this, you need a larger a/c unit when it comes time to purchase one. And a 14.5 seer will be far more gracious on the power bill and keep a steady temp by not being overworked. Too small for the house size makes the current one run constantly. Shame because we enjoyed the house and come down twice a year to visit our parents on No Name.

Owner response:As with most things in life, there is always the other side of the story. Thank you for taking the time to read our side. First and foremost I want to make it clear that we are not deceptive about anything including overage on electric. It is disclosed at the web site and also in the contrcat that every tenant signs. To say that we disclosed it when they arrived is absolutely false because we never had any language at the house regarding electric us. This false statement brings further question to the credability of this review. Now I really do not know if they truly did have the A/C set on 78 degrees but I guess it is possible since they had two windows slightly opened in the house. We had an A/C tech confirm that the A/C is in good working order and that cost much more than the slight overage that was held. There has not been any work done on the system and as you can see there are no other complaints since they stayed last year. VRBO does not allow us to disclose the minimal amount, but I can tell you it was a small fraction of the deposit and nothing that should cause anyone "horror". If you look at the bottom of our web pages you will see the number of people that have visited our site and many of those people have stayed at our houses. Our limits on electric are very generous. The overage that these folks had was very minor in comparison to the security deposit and to say that it was a horror is really a stretch. We had a call from a potential tenant that lost a very large sum of money because of the "reputable" real estate office that went bankrupt before they even got to stay at the house! Our security deposit is minimal and we only held a fraction in this case to cover the cost of the slight overage. We promptly address any issues with our properties and we never got a call from these people regarding a problem with the A/C during thier stay. We have not had any other complaints about the A/C from other people who stayed at this property. Bad news travles fast and as they said they are the only complaint posted here. The many satisfied customers usually wont take the time to write a review. The house has new windows and proper insulation so there is no need to turn off the A/C when you are out for the day. Keep in mind the bonus that we offer that nobody else does. If it snows more than one inch during your stay, the trip is free! Thanks again for taking the time to read the truth.
