We are just six houses to the beach and one house to the marsh. The low-tides make Sandy Neck look like a short walk away. The house is located on a private dead-end road in Barnstable Village. Five-minute walk to the whale-watch harbor, restaurants and shops, and the best lobster and clam shack on the Cape! Right off of historic Route 6A.... Minutes from the theaters, museums, great restaurants, shopping, fishing and nightlife. One hour from Provincetown, one hour from Boston.
The house has a very open feel. The Great Room, Dining Room and Gourmet Kitchen all flow into each other. All rooms are very spacious. Master Bedroom: Gas fireplace, top-of-the-line queen beds. The Great Room: Beautiful, large open space with views, gas fireplace, French doors to back deck, hardwood floors. Comfy chairs and lots of books. Gourmet Kitchen: all new appliances, great gadgets, spacious pantry (with washer & dryer).
The house was designed from the ground up by Los Angeles based designer Mariah Martin--a Cape Cod native. It was built by Patriot Builders. All bedrooms are very spacious. This was our first time as a family vacationing on Cape Cod. The Barnstable house was ideal. Size wise it provided enough room for all, the small private beach at the bottom of the street was perfect. No need to pack up the car to go to the beach! We enjoyed walking into Barnstable Village as well as the marina at Mattakeese. This was a perfect vacation. Hope to return next year.

Our family stayed at this property the week on 7/16 2011. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and the house suited our needs perfectly. The house is fairly close to the beach and there is plenty of beach and sand gear located in the shed. When you go to the beach just be aware of the tides. There were ton of supplies and games at the property, and clear instructions were left on how to operate things and what items you were responsible to replenish. The neighborhood I very quiet and relaxing. The only issues we had were the fire alarms repeatedly went off but the owner addressed that, and the faucet in the bathroom broke, again the owner addressed that as well. Overall I highly recommend renting from this owner. Great property.

I have stayed there twice know and can't wait to go back. The house is walking distance to the beach on the 6A side of the cape. Easy to get to from Boston.

We rented this home for 1 week in Nov. 2010. The house was perfect for our group, which consisted of three couples, and 4 kids. The house looked exactly as pictured, but was even more impressive in person. In the past year, I've stayed in 3 different vacation homes, and this was by far the best. In addition to the beautiful furnishings, this house had top of the line appliances, and enough dishes to feed our large group. The owner was also very easy to contact, and very responsive. The house is located just one mile away from Barnstable village, and a very short walk to the water. I would definitely stay here again.

Very new built house in excellent condition with all things you need; beds on first floor could be more comfortabele; neighbourhood is friendly, but the view into the backyards of other houses is not always nice; very close to a calm, partly sandy beach (5 minutes walk), to sit there you´ll better have beach chairs etc. (unfortunately there were no chairs and umbrellas in the house. when we arrived; we bought six camping chairs and left them there, hope, you will still find them!); the owner is very friendly an professional, everything worked perfectly!

This is a beautiful rental property. It is clean, spacious and wonderfully appointed. The appliances are top of the range and the decor is first class. The owners were very professional and answered all enquiries left on voicemail or email very promptly and called after we arrived to ensure everything was satisfactory. We had a party of four adults and two teenagers, never felt cramped or crowded. Great beach a very short walk away, beach chairs and sunshades all available for use at the house. The best vacation we've ever had on the Cape and without doubt the best home we have ever stayed. Only one problem, my wife now wants to redecorate our home in the same style and colors!!!! I guess that says it all, Thanks Todd.
