We love to visit Maui and hope to retire here soon. Kihei Akahi is in an ideal location, across the street from a great beach and a short drive to many more in Wailea and Makena. My brother & sister-in-law live on island so it's great to be near family.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We enjoy the warm weather and ocean year round. We love the outdoor activities, swimming, snorkelling and hiking. We wake up happy, with birds singing in the morning and enjoy eating our breakfast on the lanai.

Our Dec.27/11-Jan.10/12 stay was wonderful, the condo offered everything we needed with comfort and tasteful decorating. The new appliances made kitchen duties easy. Lovely king size bed and large shower were a bonus. The owner's provided tips and information that we used even though this was our our third trip to Maui. Thanks Bill & Jana for sharing your condo, we look forward to returning.

We stayed in the condo from June 4-11th. We had a fabulous time! The condo is in a great location, right across the street from the beach and a quick walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The condo was clean and modern, with everything we needed for the beach and cooking. The owners were very nice and answered all my questions quickly and gave great directions for driving. We defintely want to come back to Maui soon and would definitely book again! Thanks so much for the use of your great condo!

We stayed in this condo over Christmas and New Year's. The owners were very nice, very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay. The condo has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped and they have all the beach stuff you need. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were clean and in good condition. The condo complex is in a great location accross the street from a nice beach and a short drive to other great beaches in south Maui. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay in this condo again.

My 3 kids and I stayed at this condo for 1 week this summer. The condo is very nice, newly updated. The kitchen is very well stocked, made it nice when I decided to cook rather than go out to eat. The kids loved all the beach toys, especially the boogie boards. The property is right across the street from the beach. The owner was very easy to work with, very detailed information before our stay. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation, we look forward to returning!

We got married in Maui and stayed here. The owners were very helpful and sweet with booking their condo. The Condo was very clean,comfortable- home away from home. Everything you need! Great decor and great feel. Its wonderful eating breakfast and relaxing on the balcony. If you are going to stay in Kiehi. Stay in this condo.

The Kihei Akahi is in a great location. This was our first visit to Hawaii, so I don't have an experience to compare it to, but everything seemed to be just as described. With Kamaole beach II just across the road, and a crosswalk at the complex entrance, which made it easier to cross the road. But yet far enough away from the road that we awoke each morning to the sound of the birds singing. Most everything you need is within walking distance, shopping, resturant, health food store, activities like renting snorkel gear and even motorcycles. The unit was clean and comfortable. And it came with beach gear, chairs, beach unbrella, towels and boggi boards. The owner even emailed me just before our trip to let us know that the iPod stereo was missing and would replace it if we intended on using it. And he was very helpful awswering other question we had. We took advantage on the onsite activities retailer and booked a snorkel trip to Molokini, a Luau at the Maui Prince Hotel, saw Ulalena at the Maui Theatre and booked a trip on a 12 person bus for the road to Hana, warning if you get car sick, you probablely do not want to do this drive. We also did a hike and snorkel at La Perouse Bay, we made our way over the lava flow to the area called the Aquarium, it's not the easiest place to get to, but well worth it to is fish. I only rated it a 4 because you don't have much of a veiw of the ocean, otherwise it was great.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.
