Aloha and welcome to our little piece of paradise. You'll know your vacation has started the moment you step through the front door of this spacious 1100 square-foot/2-bedroom/2 bath condo. The bright Hawaiian print fabrics, bamboo and sea grass furniture, and classic Hawaiian artwork create a whimsical atmosphere that delights our guests. Our goal is to help you experience the best of Maui in an affordable, homelike setting.
The modern kitchen has granite countertops, upscale appliances, cookware and utensils, Hawaiian print dishes, and all the equipment you'll need for BBQ and entertaining. There are special dishes just for the kids. The indoor table seats 6 and the lanai table seats 4.
Enjoy full air conditioning in the master bedroom and the living room (includes access to second bedroom). There are 6 ceiling fans for added comfort. There is a King Bed in the master bedroom, 2 Twin Beds in the second bedroom (they can be joined to make a King Bed), and the sofa converts to a Queen Bed. There are two full bathrooms with louvered windows for afternoon trade winds. Sliding Shoji doors close off the second bedroom at night but can be left open during the day for greater living space. This condo is well-suited to families with children or couples traveling together. There are tile floors with area rugs throughout the condo. The second bathroom shower was remodeled in 2008; the master bathroom shower was completed in 2011, and both have pebbled floors for that tropical feeling. Wi-fi is available in the unit (wired and wireless). There is a new full-sized washer/dryer combo that will make your stay that much easier when it comes to laundry!
This location is ideal for those looking to play on all the South Maui/Wailea beaches without the Wailea price! Located directly across from beautiful Kamaole III Beach, you can snorkel the lava reef, swim, boogie board, body surf or stroll the beach right in front of the condo, minutes from your door. The shaded grassy areas, fresh water showers and lifeguards make this beach access part of a relaxed vacation. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach bags, grass mats, umbrellas and ice chests are provided for your use and comfort. After a day at the beach, enjoy a swim in the sparkling pool, surrounded by lush landscaping, and a poolside BBQ dinner.
Kihei's boat dock is one block south and features daily snorkel and dive excursions to Molokini crater and Turtle Town. For the golf enthusiast, there are five world-class courses within 5-10 minutes drive from our centrally located condo. Wailea is less than a mile south, with exquisite shopping, dining experiences, and large resorts. Lahaina is a 40 minute drive north, with art galleries, live theatre entertainment, shopping and beachside dining. The town of Kihei offers you a bonanza of dining opportunities and local artisan kiosks to keep you busy for days and you can walk to many of them!
As a special amenity, our condo features covered, reserved parking close to the unit for easy access, as well as an elevator. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING UNIT.

We live in northern California. We first visited Maui in 1987 and knew that someday we would want to retire there. This is our retirement condo, and for the time being we offer it to you to rent and enjoy!

We traveled to Maui in May 2010 and stayed in this condo. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 pre teens. We found the condo clean, comfy, cery roomy and most certainly our home away from home. You will undoubtly feel the islands in this unit since it was decorated with such a strong yet tasteful flair. All the items we could possibly need for a long day at the beach were right there clean and ready to use. Thank you so much for making our Maui vacation another one to remember.

Haleakala Shores is located across the street from one of the best beaches on Maui. You are a quick walk to many shops and restaurants, but this is not the reason we returned to this condo (thought they are all great reasons). The reason we have returned is because of the attention to detail that Bob and Carol have put into their home. The choice of linens, furnishings and style contribute to a relaxing Hawaiian island vacation. We have already started planning our next vacation!

We forgot to write in your comment journal before we left! We were a party of four and we stayed for 8 nights in mid September. The pictures of this condo do it no justice! It's roomy, beautifully decorated, spacious, and fully equipped in every way. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We loved how there were items to take to the beach (so we didnt have to buy anything), extra towels, a pool, a BBQ, and all the kitchen utensils we needed to cook and BBQ at home every night. Next time, we're staying here again! Thank you very much!

Our family has enjoyed this condo over the last 2 years. In 2008, we spent 2 weeks with a couple that decided to combine their stay with their wedding. In 2009, we stayed for 3 weeks and in 2010 we will be back for another 3 weeks. In the past, we have stayed in hotels when we visited Maui. This condo is like our second home, it allows us the opportunity to instantly relax when we arrive. The decor and setup is perfect for a great vacation whether you want the beach, snorkel, dining or just relaxing by the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped. The sleeping areas and bath facilities are excellent. Aloha and enjoy!
