Located in Colington Harbour, a private gated community in Kill Devil Hills, this house offers the peace and tranquility for a relaxing vacation. This vacation spot sits on the harbor with direct water access. You also have a spectacular, virtually unobstructed view of some of the best sunsets on the "EAST" coast, something you just can't get on the beach! If the beach is a must, it is just 6 miles away with beautiful new bath house located at MP 8.5. If a shorter trip to the beach is needed, you can visit the community beach/park on the Albemarle Sound located at the marina.

With all that Colington Harbor has to offer, you may never want to leave. However, if site-seeing is your game the Outer Banks has plenty to offer. From off shore fishing to parasailing, museums to the Wright Memorial (the site of the first flight), miniature golf to a real 18-hole course, Aquariums to Lighthouses, numerous restaurants and so much more!

This house has two separate living quarters. In the lower unit, there are 3 bedrooms (two with double beds, one with a tiered bunk bed (sleeps 3)and one full bath. The kitchen is a fully equipped efficiency kitchen with full sized refrigerator, efficiency sized stove, microwave, disposal and all appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. There is a huge front deck downstairs and a smaller deck out back with gas grill. In the upper unit there is one large bedroom with one double and one twin bed and full bath. Full size dining room & kitchen. The upper unit offers a large deck with views of the Albemarle Sound with access from both the living room and bedroom. The rear deck is also accessible to the second floor unit. Ample off-street parking.

If you don't require use of both floors, the units can be rented individually and rates will be adjusted accordingly.

Both units require renters to bring their own linens: sheets, towels (bath & beach), dish towels, etc. As well as paper products: paper towel, tissues, toilet paper, etc. We do require renters to clean the units upon vacating and will collect a refundable cleaning deposit upon lease signing.

  • Water View: This property has a view of the Albermarle sound from both the upper and lower units.

  • Not Suitable for Children: Property is located on waterfront and is not protected by fence or railings. Renters with small children should be present while children are playing outside.
  • Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Lessee must be at least 21 years of age and present during the rental period.
