Photo 1 - Drummond Island Cabin Rental This home sits at the base of Fairbanks Point, where you can watch the sun rise over beautiful lake Huron. It has a large front yard that you can use for your enjoyment. Quite often you can see deer, rabbits or other wildlife wondering through. This summer we had a mother Sandhill crane and two young ones that would come through regularly. There is a fire pit in the front yard with two log benches for setting on. Enjoy the beautiful evenings while you roast marshmallows and just sit back and enjoy the campfire. I find sitting around the fire while visiting with friends about the day’s activities, is great way to end the day. This cabin is modern and was built in 1996. It has a large front deck, an open kitchen/living room layout with 2 comfortable bedrooms. It has a nice view of the lake with water access just a short distance away.It's a comfortable yet cozy and affordable. A great place to spend a week’s vacation.
