Beautiful sunsets and awesome panoramic views await you just steps from this Newport Beach vacation home on the Balboa peninsula. This vacation home is the lower unit of a duplex and is one house away from the sand, walking distance from park, basketball court, tennis court, and Newport Pier on the boardwalk. This is not the typical vacation rental. We live in the upper unit. The house is clean and comfortable. If you enjoy music, the property has a state of the art audio / video system. Wireless internet also provided. If you enjoy eating out there are 50+ restaurants within walking distance. Our guests are always happy with the accommodations. In summer, winter, spring, or fall, this NON-SMOKING vacation home is definitely all about location, rest, and relaxation. Enjoy breakfast or a family barbecue on the huge patio while enjoying the ocean breeze. Step out to the ocean and watch the dolphins swim by or on a winter's morning enjoy views of Catalina Island. First bedroom has a King-size bed, guest bedroom has one twin, one trundle bed (total three beds in guest bedroom). A sliding glass door opens up from the living room to the patio area where you can read and relax while enjoying the ocean breeze.
This vacation home includes one covered parking and one parking space on alley. It also includes boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and coolers. In addition, basic starter kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies are provided.
You will be walking distance from great restaurants, live music, and shops in the heart of the peninsula. If you are looking for activities, there are plenty to choose from - walking along the ocean, biking, roller blading, boogie boarding, surfing, sailing, boat rentals, whale watching, Catalina Island, Fishing, shopping at Fashion Island, and more.
This rental is just 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, 20 minutes from Disneyland, California Adventure, and a short drive from Los Angeles International Airport, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, Getty Museum, and many other tourist attractions.
Please be advised that this is not a party house. Have a nice time, use the beach, have a barbeque, get some sun and relax. We hope that you will come stay in our beach house and enjoy all that Newport has to offer.

Why the Owner Chose Lido Isle
I've always wanted to live by the ocean. It brings a sense of balance and renewal to everyone who visits. I chose this property because it a 50% wider lot than the normal property, it is a corner lot with a direct ocean view and it is one house to the ocean.
The Unique Benefits at this Downstairs Duplex
This property is set up as a home, not a rental. Spices are in the cupboards ready for cooking. No silly extras like paying for laundry. The furniture, carpet and decor and appliances are all setup the way we want to live. We commonly look outside and see dolphins.
Classic Boardwalk for stroll beside the beach. Starts 2 short blocks from property. You can ride on bike paths from penninsula point to Long Beach 22 miles away.
2nd Pier, Ferry to Balboa Island, Fun Zone, Great resteraunts, Location of Catalina Flyer (Boat to Catalina Island), Watercraft rentals.
