  We loved staying in this house. It has an upstairs double twin room with a separate bathroom, which was great. All of the beds were very comfortable. The whole house was nicely decorated. The kitchen was nice and wide open. I loved sitting on the front porch with my dog in the morning watching the sun and at night looking at the stars. There were some miniature ponies in the property next door! This house was really close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, giving access to great trails. It was also in a very easy location for driving into Asheville or the Biltmore.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners.

  This is a 'dream come true' cottage to rent. The pictures on the website don't begin to show how clean, comfortable and well-maintained this home is. Everything you need, except food and clothing, is provided. You will thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know the owner too. The fenced-in back yard is perfect for dogs. There is lots to do in the area and there is a huge collection of pamphlets describing many activities and area restaurants in the basket by the fireplace. If you are going to be in the Asheville-Hendersonville area, don't hesitate to rent this cottage.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  Cozy, clean, warm, inviting, peaceful, and tastefully decorated; surrounded by nature sounds. We loved this place. Our 2 Scotties also enjoyed the fenced-in back yard. Definitely will return.

  FANTASTIC! Just back from a 2-week stay during July 2009 and highly recommend this cottage. Very clean and well maitained by the owners (not a third party) and the difference shows. This is the cleanest rental we have ever been to and the only one we'd go back to if we are in the area again. The location is great - 5 minutes from I26 yet remote enough for some peace and quiet. Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville each about 20 minutes drive. WalMart, grocery stores and chain restaurants just across the highway.

  Charming!! This cottage is a 'home away from home'....a blissful step back in time. Tastefully furnished, centrally located, and very quaint...cozy cottage has plenty of space, and two lush-green yards. We rested well after our days touring the Biltmore, hiking the mountains, and enjoying eclectic Asheville. This is a great home for a families, romantic getaways, or even business. We are recommending this sunny, friendly home to all our friends. We'll be back for the fall colors. Thanks for all the extras!

  Stayed at this cottage during Christmas 2008 holidays with my family and we all were impressed with it. It is a beautifully redecorated cottage that is very convenient to Asheville. We had a wonderful stay.

  The pictures of the cottage really do not do this place justice. Very cozy, cute and relaxing. The place has been totally redone with beautiful antiques. Better than what we expected.

  What a lovely cottage! The owner has taken extra measures to make your stay very relaxing and enjoyable. A quaint, safe and comfortable cottage--all the ammenities you and your pooch will need for a wonderful stay in the Asheville area. Convenient to all that the area has to offer. Highly recommended.

  AWESOME! This is the ideal cottage for a mountain vacation. Tastefully appointed, exactly the right size, and comfortable! Love and attention to detail were obviously central in renovating this lovely old home. Perfectly located for easy access to the mountain attractions in Western North Carolina; we have never had a more pleasant vacation! Busy Hartzog, the host, was delightful and went out of her way to make our stay truly memorable. We rented the cottage this summer for two weeks and have already reserved it for a month next year.
