Our Clear Lake waterfront cottage is a 100-year old quaint house in excellent condition. It is decorated in a nautical theme, and has knotty pine paneling through out. There is a 200 foot pier with two 40 foot boat slips, which is perfect for a boating or fishing holiday to the Clear Lake/Kemah area. The house is very private, with a large fenced front and back yard. There is pad parking space for a boat trailer, and a convenient boat ramp less than 1 block away to launch your boat. In addition, there is an attached sloped dock convenient for launching the included kayaks. The cozy front party room has a stand up bar and fireplace, as well as seating for 10.
We can provide a crawfish boiler for your shrimp or crawfish parties, as well as ample tables, chairs, tiki torches, and Caribbean tunes. The cottage has a fully equipped full-size kitchen attached to the dining and living area. It is very convenient to the Kemah Boardwalk amusement area, lots of restaurants, and is 45 minutes from Galveston. We are happy to provide recommendations on local attractions. Johnson Space Center , Armand Bayou Nature Preserve, Seabrook, and Kemah are just around the lake. During much of the year there are all types of egrets, herons, and ospreys that can be seen. The sunsets over the lake are beautiful year round. It is the perfect spot to watch the sailboat races. Maid service is available for long term rentals.
There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside the cottage.
