Quoting from their thank you card. "Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time at your "casa" in Mexico. What a beautifully designed home - The kids thoroughly enjoyed everything about the location and the comfort of your home. Alonso was so great in giving us tips about the area and the kids loved visiting with him. Bob,Gay, Maria, & Austin

From Susan's email thank you. "Hi Robyn and Jim, Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed your place. Alonso was great in helping us get settled and we found everything just perfect! The location was great and close enough to the beaches so that we spent most of the time during the day away and then just home to clean up and sleep. We did manage to make breakfast and may try to do some meals in next time, too. Loved the music you had and our first night we just collapsed around the pool before heading to bed early. We definitely will keep this in mind for future trips and would love to come and spend at least a week next time. Beds worked out fine although we are all very tall people and the full size bed was a bit tight; however, now that we know, we'll just have to work around that and perhaps just have two couples come next time. Thanks again for all of your assistance. Your directions were excellent and the drive from here was a bit longer but enjoyable. Took a good 4 1/2 hours door to door."

Quoting from Judy's email "Hola! I'm glad you enjoyed our vignettes of the lazy life in Mexico. It was the most delightful month, probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We'd love to rent the casa again next February, and in fact, would even like to extend to the last two weeks in January as well. But I'm sure you've had many offers!"

Easily one of the best and most relaxing vacations I've ever had. If the beach in front of Casa de las Nueces is not enough there are other spectacular beaches to explore and snorkel just an easy drive away. Melaque and Barre De Navidad both have great markets and restaurants. It's the kind of place you'll want to stay again and again.

Lovely and spacious home in the quiet and charming town of Cuastecomate. Quaint restaurants offering "sabroso ceviche" align the scenic beach a block away from the house. This is a place to relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the bay while sipping your favorite beverage! House is upscale and very comfortable. Definitely a repeat destination for me!

Definitely the ideal spot for the perfect balance of relaxation and fun! I spent 10 wonderful days at Casa de las Nueces. The home is beautiful and even includes a washer and dryer! You have a beautiful view from every room in the house, a short walk to the beach, and a gorgeous pool when the sun gets too hot. The town is peaceful for you to de-stress and both Melaque and Barra are a short trip to shopping, restaurants and nightlife! I will definitely be returning! -Amanda Zwack

What a wonderful place!! First of all, the location in a very, very quiet village, but oh, so close to a town that has all you need in terms of supplies, restaurants, evening strolls on the main square. The house is beautifully simple and elegant. Cooling off around the pool situated between the casita and the main house is a total pleasure. It is a very pretty area all day long, but especially stunning with the patio lighting, plants and stars above. The kitchen has everything you need. There are enough bathrooms - and - what a bonus: air conditioning!! Lots of different "venues" inside and outside of the house for a big group to have privacy or gather all together. What a great place!

The perfect vacation spot! The house is extremely comfortable with a great pool and amazing views. The house is located in a small, friendly town where we ate meals on the beach, snorkeled, and relaxed in the sun. If you take a short drive to Melaque, you can spend the day shopping, eating, and playing in the waves on the miles of beach that stretch to Barra de Navidad. The area is beautiful, the locals are friendly and accommodating, and there are many activities to check out. I would definitely recommend vacationing here; I have already booked my next trip!

Casa de Las Nueces~ The perfect respite for our stress inundated lives!! We spent eight wonderful days relaxing in and around this fabulous contemporary home (plus casita). Amazing views, one block from a great beach with little restaurants. Swimming, beachcombing, eating and drinking-what more does one need?? House has great kitchen/dining/sitting area with wall that opens up to the view as well as a view of the tiled pool replete with waterfall. All walled in giving privacy galore. We will be back!!

I stayed in Casa de Nueces in November and it was a fantastic experience. The home is beautiful and the view of Cuastecomate bay stupendous. You can laze around the lovely pool or walk down to the beach and swim in the ocean and finish that off by stopping by one of the restaurants for a plate of fresh Camarones or Ceviche. In addition, it is close to town if you prefer a little action. Up the coast there is great snorkeling at Tinacatita and you can stop on the way home in the small town of La Manzanilla for a view of the crocodiles (yes, crocodiles) and a cocktail in the charming town. Don't forget to go to Barra de Navidad and take a boat over to Isla de Navidad for an excellent breakfast! Pasar un buen rato!

Really great house and another studio, perfect for a group with a spot for a couple to have some privacy. Everything is well designed and nicely decorated in somewhat of a local style so you don't feel like you are vacationing in the States. Everything is brand new, nice and clean. The property sits on a hill so both the house and the studio have great views of the water. It takes only a minute to walk to the beach and there are really nice and cheap restaurants right on the beach. The best thing about the beach is the free entertainment from the pelicans diving for fish, well, that and the water so warm you don't have to swim too much to avoid getting cold. The pool at the house is also really nice, with lots of patio room around so you can always find a spot in the shade or in the sun. Great spot, quiet little town but close enough to the action if you want it. Very lovely vacation home for two or eight or nine.
