Relax, breathe deep and experience the richness of Guanacaste - Costa Rica's untouched north pacific coast. We've created a comfortable oasis to be used as home base for exploring the beauty of this area and its culture. If you're looking to experience Pura Vida (Pure Life) this is the place for you! Off the beaten path, this secluded area of the Nicoya Peninsula offers a very friendly ranching community with many pristine beaches, a wide range of local restaurants/bars, and a relaxed tropical lifestyle.
Designed for comfort and full enjoyment of the local climate, the house boasts three bedrooms with private bathrooms, a kitchen with many of the comforts of home (and a view that'll knock your socks off!), a second floor terraza (terrace) that captures every breeze, an infinity edge pool with swim up bar and several "chill spots" that let you soak up the sun or catch a breezy afternoon siesta. Ceiling fans throughout the house and covered portico guarantee cool comfort even on the warmest days.
Regional hardwoods including Teak, Mahogany, Pochote and Guanacaste have been used throughout the architecture and furnishings to showcase local flavor. Facilities were constructed to North American standards for safety and convenience. Maintenance and housekeeping services are provided by an on-site (separately housed) caretaker, with the utmost consideration of privacy. Power is the old familiar 110 volt ... no adapters needed.
Casa Patricia's three bedrooms can comfortably sleep 10 people and have been furnished with family in mind. Each bedroom is similar in size with the "Kids Room" sporting a queen and bunk bed set. The second bedroom has two queen-sized beds. The master bedroom is outfitted with a king sized bed. Each room enjoys pool, ocean and valley views with private shower/bathroom, high quality bedding and rustic frames/bedside tables handmade from local teak.
The Terraza was designed for hammock time and entertainment. The roof design allows anything that even resembles a breeze to caress your skin. The low roofline allows just the right amount of tropical light relative to view exposure for eye pleasing panoramas all day long. A full bath and shower on the terraza means you could stay up there all day if you wished!!! All seasons are enjoyable under the cover of the roof in this Great Room. |
