This jewel of an apartment is located in the heart of the Charming & Chic 16th Arrondisement, home to the Trocadero Eiffel Tower Center, the exclusive Passy shopping area, outdoor markets, antique shops, cafes, restaurants, direct access to the Seine River and the Central Park of Paris--the Bois de Boulogne. This neighborhood is the most sought after by the Parisians themselves, despite it's elevated price tag, and it's not unusual to rub shoulders with celebrities from all over the world.

Your Chez-Vous is located on a charming, and oh so Parisian, tree lined street, flanked by upper scale shops, restaurants and cafes. In the morning, you need only cross to the square and stroll along the stands of the open market, among the fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and yummy gourmet treats. Once your shopping cart is filled to the brim, cross back over the street, enter the code to the building's secured door and head up to your 1st floor retreat.

The spacious and light kitchen, with large window facing a private garden, is fully equipped with everything you'll need to create your gastronomical masterpieces. Dine in the kitchen or move to the classic French Salon, complete with parquet floors, marbled fireplace, ceiling moldings and ceiling to floor curved French doors with views of the street and square. After enjoying your home cooked meals, relax on the sofa/bed and watch the Cabled TV or an English video from the collection of movies with the VCR.

Later you can work at the desk and send e-mails, with High-speed Internet Access, to your envious friends or family or, even better, call them with Free International Calls!

The large bedroom is warm and inviting, with plenty of closet space, and those truly unique French parquet floors, wanes cotting, ceiling moldings and large French doors. The bathroom has a shower/bathtub, large lighted sink, bidet and window facing the private garden. The Toilet, again with window on the courtyard, is separate from the bathroom, allowing less congestion for larger groups getting ready for a day of sightseeing.

Speaking of sightseeing, the apartment is only 5 minutes from the
C line, and 10 minutes from Metro line 10. Both lines can speed you to the most important sites to see in Paris--the Luxembourg garden, Sorbonne, Latin Quarter, Arch of Triumph, Champs-Elysees, Louvre, Marais, etc..., or you can spend the day on foot and walk to the Seine, Trocadero, Eiffel Tower, Passey Shopping Area, etc...

  • My husband and I had the pleasure of staying for 4 days at this charming apartment which is located in a very convenient area. Only a few blocks away is the RER station which we used every day. The Eiffel Tower is within walking distance as well. We especially enjoyed the market which is held on a weekly basis. We decided to pack a wonderful lunch of the most flavorful cheeses, fabulous croissants and fruit which I have never enjoyed so much! The local restaurants, which are recommended in the guest book, are truly the best! We would definitely make a journey back to Paris and stay at Le Grenelle. Thank you Steven & Veronica.

  • My girls and I stayed for a week at the Le Grenelle apartment. This has been our first experience renting through VRBO. We also rented an apartment in Provence the week before and I must say that both places were perfect. From now on that is the only way to go for me. We loved the location and I am really glad that I chose this area. Everything was so convenient. I was a little nervous about not having someone there to meet us but the apartment was very easy to find as well as the key lockbox and it all worked out just fine. The apartmenmt was so clean and cheerful when we arrived with a basket of vegetables from the owners' own garden and a bottle of wine awaiting us. We loved being able to open the windows and watch the neighborhood come to life in the mornings and feel like locals with several great boulangeries and amazing bistros right outside the door. The RER station was our link to the rest of the city and was so easy to use just one block away. Very inexpensive too. We felt very safe and comfortable in our Parisian home with a well equipped kitchen so that we could make a few meals after visiting the wonderful market across the street. With four women, having a separated bathroom was a big help for getting ready in the mornings too. Staying at Le Grenelle really enhanced our "Parisian" experience and we really can't wait to return.

  • I stayed at Le Grenelle for a month this spring, and will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Paris. It just doesn't get any better than this. The apartment is immaculate and spacious with a well-appointed kitchen, even a washer and dryer. The neighborhood is very nice, and I felt like a real Parisienne instead of a tourist. Steven and Veronica are terrific! They are friendly and helpful and sincerely want their guests to have an enjoyable stay. They do everything they can to make that happen. I have stayed at several of their properties and can say, without reservation, that you cannot go wrong choosing one of their places. Le Grenelle is a great choice!

  • I loved the neighborhood, watching the children on the way to school with their parents, watching them play in the park and just watching the general activity of Paris life. I found the market amazing with all it had to offer in the way of vegetables, seafood, cheese and many other foods and goods.   • Our family of 4 have been to Paris numerous times and with some hesitation for the first time decided to rent privately and what a lovely surprise awaited us. The apartment was lovely and clean, all the amenities were perfect and the location superb. The opportunity to taste the "Paris" way of life by looking out the window and hear and smell the lunch in the little Bistro below was as good as it gets. Our thanks to Veronica and Steven our hosts, whose hospitality cannot be surpassed. We will definitely be back in Paris and will return to Grenelle. It was a real pleasure to stay there.

The apartment is very close to great restaurants, bus lines and the metro. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay.

  • The apartment was absolutely perfect - wonderful location, well equipped, nicely laid out. The neighbourhood is great - an easy walk to the BateauBus "station" by the Eiffel Tower, which took us everywhere we wanted to go. We were also able to enjoy a trip through the local market as well as a terrific meal at the little Italian restaurant next door. Nice too to have a little grocery store so close by. If we're ever back in Paris, we'll be back to Le Grenelle!
