The apartment is attached to the principal house situated on the edge of the medieval stone village of Cabrieres d'Avignon. Both house and apartment have been lovingly and tastefully restored with high quality fittings. The apartment has the benefit of full use of the beautiful garden, and pool, with its many intimate areas and relaxing ambiance. The location is very quiet and there is immediate access to the countryside for hiking,walking,and cycling.
The village has a bakery, butcher and general store, all of which are within two minutes walk. A car is not needed for essentials.
The village is 30 minutes from Avignon and is in close proximity to many tourist attractions such as Fontaine de Vaucluse, Isle sur la Sorgue (famous for antiques), Gordes (perched vuillage with spectacular views). The beautiful Luberon villages of Menerbes, Lacoste (with its open air theatre), Bonnieux and Roussillon are close by, all within around 10 miles. Other historic sites such Nimes, Arles and the Pont du Gard are one to one and a half hours drive away.
