We stayed at the apartment for 8 days with two children of 1 and 3 years. The apartment was as beautiful as the pictures shown. It had magnificent views of the ocean from the living room and bedroom and had everything to enjoy our vacations (also toys for children!!). The apartment and also the building were very clean and maintained (almost new- built in 2004). Adelfo was really gentle and helpful. We had a nice surprise when he told us that the condo also had beach service (chairs and umbrellas) and a swimming pool for kids. Is very well located: close to Miami Beach and Malls. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the apartment, the pool and the private beach. Nice and quiet location, but it does not take long to drive down to South Beach etc. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Returned home today! I have to say the condo was better than we could have expected, beautiful views, clean, well maintained and very welcoming after a hard days sunbathing or a day trip out. The condo was equiped with everything we could wish for (even an umbrella which we didn't need)! The Condo is in a perfect location, there are enough stores in close vacinity to get your daily grocery items and have a snack/lunch any time of day. We also found public transport very easy to use when we visited South Beach and Bal Harbor (bus 120). We did hire a car for trips to Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Hillsbro and KeyWest. The beach outside the condo is quiet, clean and well maintained with a lovely walk way used to jog or just walk along. Adelfo is the perfect host, very helpful. What more can I say? You wont be disappointed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Adelfo is the perfect host ... very professional, totally caring, and absolutely helpful. The condo itself is superlative. CLEAN, immaculately maintained and very, very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, incl. 2 flat panel TVs, DVD player, Microwave, Coffee Maker, cordless phones, even a slow cooker. My wife and I spent three months at the Akoya, Jan-March 09, and it sort of came to feel like home. In fact, we were extremely reluctant to leave. The beach is gorgeous, the views of the Atlantic and the Intra-Coastal waterway are spectacular and one is within walking distance of a gas station, supermarket, Blockbuster Video, restaurants, banks, etc. SOBE (South Beach) with all its clubs, bars and restaurants, is just a short drive away. Will we be back? You bet. In fact, it is likely that we will return every winter. And so should you!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We are an italian family of four people, with teen agers. We spent Christmas and New Year's Eve in this apartment. It much more beautiful than as it is shown on the photos. It is equiped with care and really confortable. The view and the atmoshere is gorgeous. The Condo is full of amenities and the owner was professional, helpfull, friendly, precious to give all kind of information. He is a real gentleman. It was a pleasure to deal with and we higly recomend this rental. We stayed for a month last summer and are planning on staying this coming summer again. The condo is very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable, well-kept, with many amenities, including flat screen TVs and DVD player. The building is wonderful, and very well situated on Miami Beach! Owner is a very professional person, and a pleasure to deal with. This was a great place. Beautiful condo interior as well as south facing balcony with plenty of sun. Extremely friendly owners as well as very helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
