My stay was wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. The condo was comfortable and clean and the views were great.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The owners have recently renovated the inside and it looks new. It is nicely decorated and convenient to the docks for boating and close to the pools. The restaurant, The Landing, is an easy walk across the street. This waterfront unit has a good view of Smith Mountain. We would definitely rent from Ken and Peggy again.

There seems to be a common theme for all who come here. What we were hoping for never really happened. Closed restaurants, little sunshine and too warm weather. Terry and I should have known better than to come here with expectations. I say this because what we received far exceeded what we had hoped for. The majesty of God's creation was an absolute sensory overload. Plenty of quiet time to talk, nothing to do but enjoy each other's company, getting soaked feeding the ducks and gulls and my personal favorite, th clouds overwhelming the mountain top. I know it sounds like it was a boring weekend but nothing could be further from the truth. We prayed, we read, we talked, and we enjoyed each other's company. These were the things we would truly appeciate. Thank you for three days of what life is all about.

We had a great weekend here at the condo. A nice way to spend Thanksgiving. The fireplace was quite nice for the chilly November nights. The condo is totally equipped with all you need for a weekend or a week. Only wish we had more time use the jacuzzi and enjoy the view. You have a great place (we love the tropical motif) which we enjoyed very much. There are indeed "creatures" here. we saw five deer and one possum during our two nights here.

We lovedthe weekend that we stayed at Smith Mountain Lake. It was a time for relaxation and a time to get away from everything. We enjoyed the condo, it was beautiful. The view was great and we like being close to the pool, hot tub, and the Cabana Bar. On Friday night, we ate at The Landing and the food was really nice. We plan on coming back next year and bringing our families. Thanks for letting us use your condo.

Thank you so much for sharing your tropical paradise with us! My boys, Matthew (6) and David (3) especially loved waking up to the Toucans. We've been so lucky to have beautiful weather. The boys have enjoyed every minute of sand and water surrounded by mountains. We've also bonded with the two darling ducks who joined us for several meals. Never heard of "Nickle Creek" before, but really enjoyed the CD.

Happy New Year! Thanks so much for allowing us to use your condo. We love Bernards landign and will be seriously considering the possibility of purchasing property here or at least somewhere on Smith Mountain Lake for the future. We had a great week! Jim and I were here from San Antonio, TX to look at retirement property. We have been in Texas for 5 years and plan to retire within the next 10-12 years. Originally from Martinsville, VA. - we still call VA home. We bought a lot at Water's Edge this week. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful time at Smith Mountain Lake. The restaurant across the street was really good and their bar was a lot of fun. The view of the mountains and water is verry relaxing. We look forward to another vacation here next year.
