We had a wonderful time and made some great memories with family and friends. The weather was perfect and the kids really enjoyed sledding in the back yard! We had everything we could possibly need here and the million dollar view is spectacular!

What a wonderful place! What a Million Dollar View! Our family had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We all decided that this is THE THANKSGIVING CABIN. We will be back next year. Everything was so nicely done and we felt right at home.

We are enjoyed our stay in this peaceful retreat. The colors were in full array! Your home is nicely equipped. (we did fill up the gas tank & had fun grilling outside on the porch). The weather has been sunny & cool..a pleasant change from Florida. We thought we'd spend more time in town but once we settled in here, we didn't want to leave :). We had a wonderful stay. We did all sorts of things. The house is absolutely stunning - the porch is such a dream. We don't get these views in Florida, that's for sure! it was truly a memorable vacation.

I had a very nice time. I went on screamtime zipline, went gem mining, went fishing on Price Lake, got a camera and took humming bird pictures, and other things too. The 60 degree weather in summer was nice. The ride up the hill was a bit frightening but everything else was great. We also went to Tweetsie Railroad. The greatest part of the house is probably the porch overlooking the mountains. Make sure you find humming bird juice because I love watching them eat.

The cabin is 100% beautiful! We had a great time and the weather was perfect, although there was a blizzard we still had fun. We went tubing and skiing and that was a blast. We will never forget our time in this beautiful cabin. We will definitely come back.

The kitchen was great for our Thanksgiving meal! You have given us our first family vacation in years! What a fabulous home and a breathtaking view. Lots of great photos and things to be thankful for. The snow was awesome and the winding roads were scarey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cabin. it is beautifully decorated with all of the mountain touches and the gergeous granite. Everything we could possibly need was here and the views were spectacular. The perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the porch at 5am watching a fantastic meteor shower. When we first arrived we were greeted by a light sprinkling of snow which was a real treat. Except for a couple of foggy days, the weather was lovely with miles and miles of amazing views, THE BEST WE'VE EVER SEEN.

We could not have had a better place to enjoy our vacation. The view is incredible, and the house is wonderful. We loved the beautiful decor and it was a luxury to stay here. (A poem for your home): How special was our stay at Million Dollar View! The Batten family surely sends gratitude to you. Your home is EXQUISITE with it's mountain decor. Thank you for a wonderful trip. The college kids are home and it was a wonderful way to help them relax. They skied at Sugar and skated at Beech. Dad and I loved the house and view. The first night was windy with gusts up to 60MPH. The second night was lovely. We could see the lights far away but were amazed at the silence. We enjoyed the movies and family time. Our week in Seven Devils has been all we hoped for and more. Your mountain home is truly warm and inviting, a comfortable retreat. We have been in awe of the spectacular views from the porch/deck, the great room and the sun room. A great place to relax and regenerate and a great location - close to Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Jullian Price and Moses Cone Parks, Bass Lake, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk - all of which we enjoyed during our stay and more. MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND From the hustle and bustle of our daily lives to the beauty and serenity of the mountains...It was a memory filled weekend that is tucked away into my heart. Standing on the edge of eternity. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the deck witthe incredible views. You have an amazing house. We experienced some great opportunities not available in Florida. My favorite was horseback riding through the mountains. However, I probably would have been just as happy staying here the whole time and just admiring the views.

When we arrived, we were met with rain, wind & a storm. The visibility went to zero with gusts through the night. The place was a comfort zone...nice furnishings, comfy beds and just the 2 of us. When the storm blew over we were greeted by wonderful views the next day. We LOVED the fireplace, the sunroom and the great restaurants. We took many nice scenic drives. The sunsets are beautiful.
