100 meters built on 3 separate levels with 15 foot ceilings in the Living Room and Bedroom. The loft entrepiso has a separate sitting room and sleeping area for two with a second bathroom. Walk down 3 steps and enter a built-in kitchen with a washer/dryer and a Formal Dining Room/Den with antique Chinese daybed.

Newly renovated and elegantly appointed with exotic woods, Chinese furnishings and Indian silks, a perfect blend of history and todays' most modern convenience.
Located on the border of Recoleta and Barrio Norte, just 5 blocks from the famous Recoleta Cemetery. Within walking distance to the most elegant shopping and restaurants. There are 5 outdoor fruit/vegetable markets and 3 large supermarkets within a two block radius.
Private Spanish and tango lessons can be arranged. Also information on Plastic Surgeons and advanced Dentistry available. Two doormen will assist as concierge for every need and the owner lives in the building. Private car and driver available for airport transportation and touring for a nominal fee.
It will comfortably accommodate 4 persons, however it is not suitable for children or animals.

My friend Jane and I just spent 10 days in BA, and made our home in Anne Elizabeth's wonderful flat. There is no question that the apartment (& Anne Elizabeth) added to the quality of our stay--we loved it! The flat is gorgeous, everything one could want, the location is perfect, and AE was there for us for anything we wanted (w/in reason, of course!). She had breakfast (& a bottle of Malbec waiting for us upon arrival, w/fresh flowers everywhere), and above and beyond, 2 cell phones we could use locally to stay in touch w/Jane's daughter who's studying in BA for the semester. And even more--an international calling card so we could stay in touch w/hubbies and regal them w/our adventures. My family have stayed in VRBO apartments in Paris and Rome, and though they were both wonderful, AE's hospitality was, in my humble opinion, unparallelled. The architecture is art. The interior design is art. The art is art (really). The owner however, is a treasure. We originally intended to stay for 1 week, but stayed for 2 and wished it could have been more. Ann Elizabeth was more than attentive without ever being obtrusive. Even before we arrived she began sharing her insight in all things Buenos Aires. As she got to know us, there would be the occcasional note in the mail slot with more ideas that fit just perfectly. Not everything on our 25th anniversary trip went perfectly (there was a volcano in Chile that made things difficult for the airlines), but our stay here made it the trip of a lifetime. Oh, one thing I feel I must mention is that BA is not a quiet town...seriously, one of the loudest I've visited, but this residence is entered through a secure gate on a relatively quiet street in a very convenient location. You walk through a tranquil courtyard (it's like staying in a castle) just far enough to rest in an oasis of quiet beauty. We find that where we stay can make or break a trip. Reserve here if you find it's available.

The condo was emaculate. It was so nice to have milk, fruit,cereal,coffee, and a bottle of wine to drink when we arrived. The decore was lovely. I would definately recommend this quiet condo to any adult without children. The stairs could be a bit dangerous for young ones. We walked all over the city, the farmacilia was close the fruit stands. I would also recommend the driver we had. Omar, he was wonderful. It was nice to be able to call and have the same person come to get you. Thank you so much, Anne Elizabeth

From the time we entered the courtyard and apartment, we knew we made a great choice! The photos and description of the property were exactly as they appeared on the posting. We were greeted by Anne Elizabeth and welcomed into our "home away from home" with a beautiful spread of food and wine on the dining room table. There were gorgeous fresh flowers throughout the apartment and it was immaculate! We were travelling with our 2 daughters ages 20 and 23. The loft upstairs was spacious and perfect for them. The apartment is comfortably suited for 4 adults. Anne Elizabeth was very accomodating and it was extremely helpful having the owner living in the building!! That for us was one of best amenities! She was not at all intrusive but if we needed anything she was there for us. The location is great and it's always easy to grab a taxi when needed. There is a list of things to do and see in the apartment as well as some books about Buenos Aires that are helpful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. If we should return, there will be no question as to where we will stay!!

We stayed at this absolutely wonderful in many ways place with our friends, there were four of us. Everything in the apartment was as described and more. Anne Elizabeth, our host, was most attentive, helped us with getting from and to the airport, offered a cell phone, and many good advice. The place is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, with fully equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, and comfortable beds with fabulous sheets. The last time we had sheets like these, we stayed at the London Ritz. The location cannot be better either. Lots of neighborhood gems of restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops nearby, close to public transit and Buenos Aires attractions. This was our second time in BA and staying in this apartment made it very special indeed. Definitely coming back to stay and hoping that the place will be available!

This apartment was beautiful, spotless, quiet, luxurious, safe and secure. The beds were so comfortable, that I asked the owner what kind they were so I could buy them at home. The location is centrally located. It is within walking distance to the Recoleta cemetery, the subway, great shopping and restaurants. The apartment is a few doors away from the most delicious medialunas that we tasted in the city. The owner made us welcome, but respects your privacy and never intrudes. There was a list of the owner's favorite restaurants, city sights, shopping, and emergency numbers on the coffee table. It was a pleasure to return this apartment every night. We have travelled extensively throughout the world and our stay in Buenos Aires was one of the most memorable trips we have taken. The restaurants have terrific food and great wine. The people are friendly, the architecture is impressive. The shopping is great fun and inexpensive. We loved wandering through the many neighborhoods and this apartment sits right in the perfect location to explore the city. Here are some of our favorites. Favorite Restaurants/Food: La Cabrera (Be prepared to wait, but they serve champagne while you stand outside). Gran Bar Danzon (Amazing mixed drinks, wonderful food). Cabana Las Lilas (Superb food and service) Cadore The best gelato/ice cream we have ever tasted. Others did not compare. Vasalissa Chocolatier (Wow)! Favorite Sights: Recoleta cemetery (Buy a map at the entrance. It is easy to get lost). The architectural district (Avenida del Mayo) The Tigre boat tour Walking through the different city districts Favorite shopping: Palermo Soho (Many artisan shops, fair trade, native crafts, leather goods, interesting restaurants). San Telmo (The Sunday market is incredible with lots of antiques, handcrafts, jewelry). Recoleta weekend market across from the cemetery. The fair trade artisan shops located all over the city. Must Try: Medialunas (Favorites were from Las Medialunas del Abuelo, a few doors away from the apartment). Dulce de Leche (On every dessert menu in one form or another). Argentine beef Empanadas

We use VRBO quite a bit and have always been please, but I have to say the accomodations and helpfulness of Anne Elizabeth far exceeded any other positive experience. This place is just lovely, the upstairs loft with it's own bathroom offers extra privacy and the second bedroom is just lovely. The complex is perfectly located and is just georgeous - Anne Elizabeth kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure all was well - she arranged for pickup and return to the airport and was there to great us upon our arrival with a beautiful brunch, fresh flowers and wine - needless to say it was perfect
