This beautiful home with South Mountain as its backdrop is located within a serene paradise- full mountain views are in walking distance. A sanctuary in the desert! The home is tastefully furnished with a Western Décor with all the amenities and comforts of a luxury home. This lovely home offers 3 Bedrooms + Loft-2 1/2 Bathrooms and is over 2100 square feet of pure comfort living.

The entry opens up to a vaulted ceiling in the living then on to the formal dining room area. Continue on to the fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. This Kitchen features spacious counter space, cabinets, microwave oven and a water filtration system in the new refrigerator. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. (Except food) Some spices and sundries are provided. The kitchen adjoins a breakfast eating area and large family room complete with ceiling fan, Large Screen TV with Satellite, DVD/VCR and stereo system with 4/CD player. Great for movies! The breakfast/family room opens to a covered and furnished patio that overlooks the private pebble-tec swimming pool with a waterfall feature.

Covered deck has a table, six chairs, and a gas barbecue grill that provides additional cooking and eating options. The brick wall entirely encloses the backyard providing privacy. This residential neighborhood has beautiful mountain views. The half-bath, separate indoor laundry room with washer & dryer and the two car garage, completes the downstairs living area.

Up the staircase you will find 3 Bedrooms, a loft and 2 full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 - Master Suite has a King-Size Bed, Satellite TV with the master bath that provides a garden window tub, large shower, walk-in closets and dual vanities with a private view of the backyard swimming pool.
Bedroom 2 - Has a Queen-Size Bed, closet with separate adjacent bathroom.
Bedroom 3 - Has a Full-Size Bed, closet, and TV/DVD-VCR Player.
Bedroom/Loft 4 - Has a Full/Queen-Size Futon or it can be used as an office-den. This room has a closet, an amour, chair & small writing area for your convince. Games provide additional recreation space - or a quiet place to read a good book!

In the area there are 5 Golf Courses, Hiking trails, Biking & Horseback Riding at South Mountain, Fish the small lake within walking distance, Shopping at the Chandler Fashion Square, Restaurants in the area, Cinemas, Museums, Boating in Tempe Town Lake, Rawhide Western Theme Park, Water Parks, Old Town Scottsdale and Casinos.

You can see major league baseball spring training throughout the valley. Take a short drive to the downtown Phoenix area (about 20 minutes) and, depending on the season, see the Phoenix Suns or the Diamondbacks. Chase Field is a must see while there. Travel a little farther west from downtown and take in a Cardinal football game or Coyotes hockey.

The Grand Canyon, one of the Natural Wonders of the World, is within a four-hour drive. On your way to or from the Grand Canyon you can stop by to see the inspiring red rocks of Sedona. There are also the old west towns of Prescott and Jerome within an easy couple hours of drive time. Tucson is also a brief hour and a half drive. See Old Tucson where famous John Wayne and other western movies were made or Tombstone & the O K Corral where the famous showdown occurred.

  • We found your home to be very family friendly. I had my daughter and 4 grandchildren there with me and we were all very comfortable. The grandkids loved the park and the pool. Eventhough it was March and the pool wasn't heated, they still swam everyday. The weather was wonderful and we totally enjoyed our visit. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and we felt very safe. I think Phoenix has gotten a bum wrap in the news lately andI'm glad we didn't let the news keep us from coming.

  • I rented this house for the month of February 2009, and it was one of the best things I have done. Although it was a little to cool for use of the pool in February, I enjoyed my stay in the house. The house is fully equipped and made my stay very enjoyable. All I had to bring was food and my clothes. Everything else (Bedding, towels, dishes, pots & pans, even spices for cooking) were provided. Although I never met Kathy or her husband, Tom, they made it known that they were always available if there were ever any problems. There were none! The neighborhood is residential and very quite. There is a park about 1/4 mile away with a walking path that I enjoyed daily. The home is relatively close to everything (grocery stores, fast food, gas stations, golf courses, etc) which made getting around very easy. There are sidewalks everywhere so walking in the nice weather is great. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a home away form home in Phoenix. Many thanks to the Leazotte's for making it available to people like me.

  • This home is the perfect location for a quiet stay in Phoenix. I recently rented this home for my family who came in for a visit. They thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It is well equipped and in a great location in a very quiet Ahwatukee neighborhood. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a vacation rental.

  • We recently stayed in this home and found it to perfect for our stay in Phoenix. It had wonderful space and was well stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, etc. Location was great with a park near by and a nice quiet neighborhood out of the city traffic yet convenient to major roads/highways. I would highly recommend this home for a family or several couples traveling to the Phoenix area.

  • Kathy - Our stay was very pleasant; the house is lovely and well maintained. I'd agree with the guest who mentioned about washing the sheets/towels, however. Also, my husband had to go out for coffee and since it was a weekday the traffic from the nearby school was very bad. Perhaps you could supply a can of coffee? Other than that it was a delightful stay and we would definitely rent with you again. Rosanna

    Rosanna, LAUNDRY - After The Steven's suggested we not require guests do the laundry, we change our requirements to have the cleaning staff take care of that chore. It should have been indicated on your "Before You Leave Instructions." I will post the instructions for the next guests to make sure this is clearer. COFFEE - There was a package of coffee in the Refrig door, sorry you missed it. Should you rent again, please know there is coffee in the door. LEAVING THE AREA - If guests need to leave the house early, they might travel a different way, as there are several ways to get to major streets. Thank you for your comments.     Hi Kathy, house was great no complaints at all we will definitely rent again. I have one suggestion though every vrbo we have done we haven't had to wash sheets and towels. This cuts about 1-2 hours out of the rental day. Now this really comes into play if you have to be out at 11:00 am. Just a thought, perhaps build it into the price. Owner Kathy's Comment: Great suggestions Mr Stevcens. At not extra charge, we will have the cleaning staff take care of soiled towels and linens, only request is to have renters place them in a basket in the laundry room for washing. Thank you for your suggestion.
