Beautiful Mountain Home with gorgeous Views

This private residence is a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath, 3100 sf, with stellar views of the 10 mile range in Breckenridge. The house backs to national forest for utmost privacy. From the deck you will enjoy a hot tub with views and complete privacy.

The master suite and the loft/office are on the second floor with a comfortable queen sofa bed in the loft and a king bed in the master.

The main floor includes a sunken living room with direct access to the hot tub and a large wrap around deck. A wood burning stove provides warmth and a cozy atmosphere on cold winter days and nights. Also, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar for three and a dining room with seating for six. There are two bedrooms with queen beds; a shared bathroom with double sinks a tub and shower.

In addition, the walk out lower level consists of a family room with a 50" television, DVD and a gas stove. Also, on the lower level is one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes

Breckenridge is an hour and a half drive from Denver. Once at our house you are about an 8 minute drive to the center of town. The close proximity to Denver was a big reason we chose to buy a home in Breckenridge. If you're in the mood you can go to town which offers; dining at restaurants and bars, shopping, festivals, music, and theater, then you can retreat back to our home and enjoy peacefull, quiet days and evenings, beautiful scenery, relax in the hot tub, star gaze, or whatever else you choose to do. The town and people of Breckenridge are fantastic.

The Unique Benefits at this House

Peak 8 and Peak 7 ski areas are only a 4-5 minute drive from the house. We have a hiking trail right behind the house and many more trails within a 10-20 minute drive. I am a Colorado native and have always loved going to Breckenridge. We love spening time on our deck in the summer and inside by the fire in the winter. We offer a free parking pass for the gondola lot on airport Road which is only a couple of minutes from the house. Our house is also adjacent to national forest creating more privacy.

Hiking/Biking Trail behind the house goes to the Peak to Peak trail and also to a cross country trail in the winter.

We offer a free parking pass for the gondola parking lot. The gondola takes you to peak 7 & 8 ski areas. This is an appoximate location on the map. It is on Airport Road.

 

Owner's Map of Private Homes

We live in Denver and have always enjoyed the mountains. We owned a townhome when our children were small, and have many, many great memories of times spent skiing, hiking and biking as a family and with friends. The children are now adults so we purchased this beautiful 4 bdrm, 3.5 bath home for get togethers with family and friends. There is so much room and the house is set up for "personal space time" and for "coming together" We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

    • We had a great time. Breckenridge in the summer is beautiful. The house is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Close to town yet private. Saw a moose down the street. Viewed a fox as I was relaxing in the hot tub. Would love to come again.

    • Great house for vacationing. Bedrooms are seperated for the most part for privacy. Great views. Very quiet area. Super hottub. It snowed a foot while we were there and our 4x4 Suburban came in handy as this neighborhood is located up the mountain. You will enjoy this home and Kay and Edward are great to deal with!

    • This home is fabulous. From the setting, to the view to the over the top decor it is a great value.Home,decor and ammenities rival a 4 to 5 star hotel. The pictures don't do it justice as the family room, dining room and kitchen are much bigger in real life. The master bedroom is fantastic. The owners are great to deal with. In 8 years of renting from VRBO this is the only property we return to more than once. Tip, be sure to have 4WD/AWD in winter. We did with 2 feet of new snow, no problems. Our friends had a Taurus and needed chains. Snow is a good thing!
