An excellent vacation home for a family. The setting is right on Lake Margarethe, a 2000 acre all sports lake. If you're an early riser, you will have a great view of the beautiful sunrises across the lake from this home. There are three roomy bedrooms. The "Kid's Room" has 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and it's own bath and a half. The third bedroom also has a queen bed. One of the two sofas in the living room pulls out into another queen bed. Every bed has a down comforter and every bedroom a ceiling fan. The front of this home has a Greatroom with the living room, kitchen and dining area looking out onto the lake. The deck has a table and chairs and a 12 foot retractable awning.

You will be 45 minutes from Traverse City and all it has to offer such as shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. Gaylord is 30 miles north with its Alpine Village shopping area, cinemas and snow skiing. There are snowmobile, ATV, biking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing trails near by.

In winter, Hanson Hills, which is about 5 miles away has downhill skiing, downhill tubing, and beautifully groomed cross country ski trails. You can easily access snowmobile trails right from the house.

In summer, there is a boat tie down if you bring or rent one and there is a small sailboat you can use (we supply the life jackets).

This is a wonderful setting for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying all that Northern Michigan has to offer. And if you listen closely, you might hear the loons on the lake at dawn and at dusk.
