Unique furnishings include custom made tables, headboard & other touches by artisans made from mesquite, cottonwood, aspen & cypress and 2-story wildlife sculpture by local artist. Fully Wheelchair accessible on 1st floor with Roll-in Shower. Private enough for Romance, fun for a small family. Paved road and flat parking. On Facebook: EaglesViewCabin
Wheelchair accessible: When we had the opportunity to rebuild, we decided to make this first-class luxury cabin accessible to all. There are ramps to the front and back decks, and the main level sleeps 4 (king bedroom and queen sleeper sofa). The kitchen counters are a few inches lower than 'usual' and the microwave is under the counter. There is a Wii in the Great Room for activities if one cannot make it up to the game room loft (but if you can -- there is room for a wheelchair to get around up there). The bathrooms have ADA height commodes, and main level has a walk-in/roll-in shower. Really nice for everyone!
Decorated for the Holidays!: Eagles View will be decorated from December - February with a 7' Christmas tree and other seasonal decorations. Spend the holidays or WinterFest at this luxurious cabin. If you're flexible on when to celebrate Christmas, you can come at the non-holiday rate and Santa may bring you snow!
Take advantage of the mild weather this winter to enjoy the beauty of Wears Valley and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from this ridgetop cabin. We are on Cove Mountain - just over the top from Laurel Falls.

Eagle's View is a lovely cabin in a scenic location. We enjoyed the hot tub while watching the clouds roll through the mountains. The cabin is well-appointed with just about everything you would need. Connie, the owner, was very easy to work with and helpful. We were only there for a weekend, but will definitely come back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommend.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities.

Just wanted to thank both of you for allowing us to experience such a view at your cabin. On Thursday it started raining on our way back to the cabin from Sugarland Visitor Center and once we settled in we sat on the porch and watched the clouds roll in - what an experience. Everyone should get to experience what it is like to be in the middle of a cloud. I know that probably sounds corny to anyone that hasn't been there - but its true. I think your cabin has been the best we have ever rented. We hope to use your cabin again in the future. thanks so much Trish and MikeRecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, pet owners.

Our family had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. The smell of wood that greeted us when we walked in was warm and inviting. Right after we settled in, we watched a big thunderstorm roll in. Quite impressive! The view was beautiful! The cabin was well supplied and was truly handicap accessible which I greatly appreciated as I am in a wheelchair. The time flew by playing pool and games together, reading, enjoying the hot tub, and watching movies. When we checked out Sunday, we drove to Cades Cove and spent a perfect day relaxing and enjoying the beauty of God's creationRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners.

The photos don't do it justice! Amazing view in both directions! Cabin is very well maintained and was just the right size for 2 adults and a child. Lots of nice extras (new televisions, Wii game system, pool table). It's a great location for getting in the less-traveled entrance to the Great Smokies, and still convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with young children.

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful views and the cabin. The cabin was very nicely furnished and the accessability for my husband in his wheelchair was great. The road up to the cabin is my only complaint and that's because I'm a Louisiana native and our roads only go as high up as the overpass on the interstate. But the road was paved and in good condition and my car survived my driving so all was good. I would recommend this cabin to anyone, especially those with handicap issues.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin. Connie I appreciate everything that you did for us at the last minute considering you were going through your father's service. The cabin was very comfortable and very well stocked. We seemed to find things that we needed to cook with that we forgot to buy so that was a big plus! The fireplace was not turned on and that was the only disappointment that we had. DIrections were very good and we got in after dark the first night. I enjoyed all of the local menus that you have as well which were very helpful. Thanks again and we hope to stay there again soon!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We'll get the propane fireplace checked right away. It's supposed to be enjoyed year-round. You are wonderful guests!

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We rebuilt Eagles View cabin after a fire. We bought the original cabin in 2005. We live in Virginia. Paul owns a real estate company and I run our online real estate school and property manage our 2 cabins in the Smokies.
Why the Owner Chose Wears Valley:
The views from this ridge are incredible.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Very private without being totally secluded. Minutes from a 'secret' entrance into the National Park. Constantly changing scenery from our perch on a flat ridge that juts out from Cove Mountain and overlooks Wears Valley and the surrounding mountains.
