Why the Owner Chose West Tropicana
Las Vegas just has so much to offer! The weather is great year-round. No snowplows needed - ever!! There are dozens of new hotels and casinos to explore, and of course we love to gamble now and then, but most of all, the scenery and blue skies just are so welcoming! You can take a day trip to Hoover Dam, Laughlin, Valley of fire, Red rock Canyon, Mt Charleston. Drive or take a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon or Zion Ntl Park.
It is so nice to escape damp weather. You don't see lots of insects, spiders, etc., because the climate is dry. Just jumping in a cab or taking the plentiful (and cheap) buses around town makes vacationing a pleasure. We actually have four supermarkets within two blocks! Two gas stations on the corner, two pharmacies within a block. Lots of hometown restaurants and movie theaters two blocks away. Honestly, it does not get any better.
Sure, it's nice to stay in a hotel and be "pampered"? but how about those maids at 8 am? And the loud partiers in the hallways? And the tobacco smoke...everywhere!!
I like peace and quiet at home - sure, we can go to any hotel and enjoy the entertainment and nightlife, but home should be....peaceful....

We have family visiting from other countries on a regular basis and they all say that they want to visit Las Vegas. This home has exceptionally met our needs giving our guests their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and we saved a lot of money dining in, plus we had fun cooking meals together. This home was quiet which I especially enjoyed This home is also situated next to a very nice pool and hot tub. Our hostess was accessible and promptly addressed our concerns. We will be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It has a large, fully equipped kitchen with all of the modern conveniences -- full size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, cooking utensils, pots/pans and dishes/glasses. The condo is very roomy with two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There are TVs in both bedrooms and one in the living room. The condo is so quiet in the evening -- which was great. There is also a lovely patio where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. The location is wonderful; close to the strip but just far enough away to avoid the traffic and noise. Gail is a great host -- she ensured that everything was in working order. We can't wait to stay there again next year!

I have stayed at this condo for full 3 months. It was the most pleasant surprise of all my travels in the past several years, as not only there was simply everything in the condo one could possibly need, but the condo was also in a relaxing neighborhood of mainly owner occupied condos in what Las Vegans say is the best residential area of Las Vegas. As a European i also enjoyed to have an International Foods supermarket basically around the corner and all major supermarkets within a good walking distance, about 3 or 4 long blocks away. As a European i was also not interested in driving so i used the ultra modern safe and clean bus system to get around, very easy too. Finally a word about Las Vegas itself. Even for me who did not go there to play on slot machines but life and work and go to the University each day i have to say that i seldom saw more pleasant behaving people anywhere i went (but then again, i never went to areas they said are not to recommendable, and those where not where this condo complex is. Even though entirely residential and quiet, this condo is within viewing distance of the strip, i've seen other out-of-towners coming to stay in this condo complex to have the best of both worlds, a peaceful haven to relax plus the buzzling entertaining strip close by. The owner of this condo certainly does her part to make a guest feel at home and at ease.
