Come and enjoy 'Der Rothaus' at Icicle Village Resort. Our home is located within walking distance of the magical town of Leavenworth. Home of many exciting festivals, including Icefest, Maifest, Riverfest, Accordian Celebration, Salmon Festival, Autumn Leaf Festival, Oktoberfest, and of course the famous Christmas Tree Lighting. Spend the day enjoying shopping, skiing, or tubing, then come home and enjoy a quiet evening in front of your fireplace or out on the deck with a majestic mountain view.
'Der Rothaus' is within walking distance of golf, minutes from river rafting, fishing, and hiking.
You will be staying at the Aspen Suites Condominiums, in our spacious Studio, located in Icicle Junction Resort. Enjoy all this property has to offer: J.J. Hills Restaurant and Wine Bar, Icicle Junction Activities Center, Junction Cinema, Coca Cola Soda Fountain, Junction Java Coffee & Snack Shop, Simple Kneads Massage and Spa, pool and hot tub. Fun for adults and kids of all ages.
No matter how you travel to Leavenworth, nestled in the Eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains of North Central Washington, a short 2 l/2 hour drive from Seattle. Your first view of downtown Leavenworth will be a surprise. Envision a small village, somewhere in Germany, nestled in a narrow valley and surrounded by snow-covered mountains. My husband and I needed a little break from real life and was very impressed with this rental. We stayed 2 nights and not only was the rental exactly as described, but it was clean! We loved all the area and how close we were to the main street and shops. I was surprised at the privacy. The way the condo is located, is off the side of the building, so we didn't run into any people and it was nice and quiet. The owners are great and communicated very well with us. This is a property I will definitely rent from again. I was very impressed.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

My family of 4 just had a great time staying here. Everything was so clean and easy to find. The Christmas decorations were so cute and the kids loved the bears and moose. It was nice having the amenities of the Best Western but not staying in a standard hotel room. We even walked to town and back a few times its not to far even with lots of snow. The only surprise we had was the dishwasher full of clean dishes we had to unload to load our few dirty ones. We didnt even know there could be more dishes. There was plenty of kitchen ware. :)Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.
