Located in the private community of Towemensing Trails, this brand new (2007) 5 bedroom home will accommodate multiple families and large groups. Enjoy the beautiful foliage and nature views as you sit on the large deck or relax in the soothing hot tub.
In summer months enjoy swimming in the private pool or lake. Only a short block to the warm sandy beach. Rent paddle boats, go fishing, play in the game room, or venture to nearby amenities or relax in the air conditioned house. In the winter months enjoy the short drive to Big Boulder and Jack Frost for fun in the snow! Spring and Fall offer beautiful nature foliage in the spectacular Pennsylvania tradition. All season travel 5 minutes to Pocono White Water rafting and paint ball.
Whatever season you prefer, The Squirrel's Nut will be the perfect retreat for you. The home is beautifully decorated and fully appointed. Enter the first level of the house into the ski mud room, from here dive into the game room, equipped with large screen TV, DVD, Stereo, shuffle board, fuse ball, dart board, Xbox with dance pad, three controllers, and 15+games, game table, convertable couch (small single), 1\2 bath, bedroom with two sets twin bunks, laundry room with full washer and dryer.
The middle level houses the great room with 46" plasma flat screen TV, DVD, two story stone gas fire place, large front deck, dining area with huge table, fully appointed kitchen with 4 person bar seating, all new appliances, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, mixer, microwave, USB cable for high speed internet access, rear deck with table and chairs, gas grill, two large bedrooms (3 twins , 1 queen), full bath. Access the 7-8 person hot tub via the back deck steps.
The third level houses two large vaulted master bedrooms (Q, Q), loft area with Futon (Full). One master bedroom with twin pull out couch. Full bath. Also available queen aerobed upon request.

***************THE LAKE AT TOWAMENSING TRAILS WILL BE LOWERED BY APPROXIMATELY 10' FOR REPAIRS TO THE DAM DURING THE 2009 SUMMER SEASON. THE BEACH WILL REMAIN OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE FOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL, HORSESHOES, TANNING, SAND CASTLE BUILDING, ETC. THERE WILL BE NO SWIMMING OR BOATING IN THE LAKE THROUGH LABOR DAY WEEKEND. THE POOL AND THE OTHER AMENITIES WILL REMAIN OPEN. IF YOU WISH ACCESS TO A LAKE WHERE YOU CAN SWIM, THERE IS ONE LOCATED WITHIN THE HICKORY RUN STATE PARK. Why the Owner Chose Albrightsville
We chose this area because we are close to everything! We love being a short block to the beach. We walk with our 3 young children to the beach and enjoy the pleasant time on a relaxing beach. When we are tired of the beach, we can walk to the pool or the game room to have more fun. In the winter, we love being minute away from skiing or snow tubing. The house is just in the perfect spot to ge to so many cool places.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We have seen bear, deer, turkey, and so many other animals. The house is so relaxing and bright. Really, if you choose just to hang out at the house, it's a pleasant vacation. I like to curl up on the front deck after swimming, with a good book. The hot tub is also a great way to unwind after a day of shopping at Jim Thorpe! It's a great place.
