Whispers Villa, Bequia, is a romantic three bedroom, three bathroom luxury private villa, newly built in 2008.
The villa nestles on the side of hill, with stunning views over the islands of the Grenadines.
This quiet, romantic spot is extraordinarily peaceful. Indeed, the villa takes its name from the whispering of the wind in the trees, and of the waves on the shore below.
The villa is on the idyllic, secluded island of Bequia, part of the small nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines in the south-eastern Caribbean.
Whispers Villa sits within ¾ acres of private grounds, perched on a hillside overlooking the Grenadine islands. The beach is less than 10 minutes’ walk away.
The villa has two levels. The upper level boasts two air-conditioned en suite bedrooms, either end of an attractive open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Both bedrooms, and the living area, open directly to the spacious wraparound verandah and pool deck, featuring a 25’ infinity pool and jacuzzi, both with expansive views.
On the lower level is a third bedroom, also air-conditioned and en suite, complete with its own living area and small kitchen - making it ideal for staff or for members of the party requiring their own space. This suite has its own verandah, again with views over the Grenadines, and has stepped access to the upper pool deck.
Both levels are equipped to the highest standards.
Wireless broadband internet and cable TV are both included.

Whispers' owners, Alan and Claire, are in their late-40s, based in the UK, and still working for their living!
Why the Owner Chose Mount Pleasant Bay
The owners, Alan and Claire, first came to Bequia in 2004. They’d been to some beautiful places in their time, but instantly fell in love with the island and with this spot, overlooking the Grenadines, in particular. As well as the incredible view, they loved how peaceful this area is, with the silence broken only by the whispering of the wind in the trees, and the whispering of the waves on the shore below.
By the end of their stay, they had decided to buy the piece of land Whispers is on now. And, over the next three years, they designed the villa they will one day retire to. Building started in early 2007, and they finally “moved in” to Whispers in July 2008.
