Contemporary, luxurious, ultra high end loft condominium located in the center of the beautiful historic district of downtown Savannah is one block from "City Market" and Paula Deen’s famous "The Lady & Sons" restaurant. Walking distance to SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). Off street parking garage is available.
Strategically located in the heart of the historic district of Georgia’s first city, this immaculate property is surrounded by historic landmarks, countless restaurants, lounges, tours, museums and shopping. The interior of this fully furnished condominium was completely renovated in late 2007 when the historic Whitaker Place Building (circa 1890) was converted to eight high end residential condominiums on the upper two floors and retail space at street level.
Enter the private residential lobby and you’re an elevator ride from the excitement of Broughton Street to your own luxurious two bedroom condominium with sixteen foot ceilings, beautifully restored 100 year old hardwood floors, and tons of natural light from huge windows overlooking downtown Savannah. This unit offers great views of Broughton Street (Savannah’s Main Street), and Whitaker Street (location of Paula Deen's "The Lady and Sons" restaurant). Just around the block, is Telfair Square (one of Savannah’s 24 historic squares, each named after a person or event important to the history of Savannah). Monuments, statues, and sometimes graves are found in these squares, each a mini-park with open grassy areas, Spanish-moss laden trees, brick walkways, and plenty of park benches, all surrounded by incredible homes, buildings, and churches).
The condo has two bedrooms with King beds, two full bathrooms, huge open areas for entertaining, a very comfortable double futon, a large sofa, and sleeps four to six people. The unit offers a custom gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances, jetted tub, 46 inch flat screen TV, Direct TV with 224 channels, DVD/CD players and high-end audio equipment.
Visiting SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) or vacationing in Savannah? The Whitaker Place Building is the perfect location from which to base your Savannah visit. Catch a sightseeing trolley in City Market (located on the same block), or walk two blocks to River Street for a day of fun-filled shopping. Ghost Tours, trendy boutiques, theaters, museums and local artists are all within walking distance. You will be just a few footsteps away from many of Savannah's very best restaurants including the world-famous Lady and Son's, Vinnie Van Go Go's, Jazz'd, Cha Bella, The Pink House, and the list goes on. The SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) campus is spread throughout the downtown area and you will be in the center of it.
Parking is available in a brand new garage next door to the condo but the good news is that once you are here you will never have to get into your car because anything and everything is just a few footsteps away from this perfectly located loft.
Come enjoy the history, beauty, shopping, dining, and nightlife of Savannah while staying in this beautiful Broughton Street loft.

We came to Savannah to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. We picked this condo because of its location, right in the middle of the historic district. The condo is within walking distance to so many great restaurants and beautiful squares. We had a dinner celebration at the Old Pink House, the food and atmosphere were fantastic. My only complaint was that the place had only 3 wine glasses. The owner was very understanding and accommodating. Shortly after our phone conversation, he brought over a set of 8 brand new wine glasses. Great vacation spot, would definitely recommend it.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, my children and I spend a week in Savannah and had one of the most enjoyable family vacations. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any meal, came really handy with preparing breakfast and lunches for the whole family. Should you need to do laundry there are full size washer and dryer, perfect when traveling with young kids. The condo is located right in the middle of downtown, you can walk to all the beautiful Savannah squares, Forsyth park, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, you name it…We parked the car and didn’t use it for a whole week, so relaxing. We needed more towels and the owner Mike brought some the same day. Mike and his assistant were very pleasant and accommodating from the minute we called to inquire about the property. Beautiful city, great condo, excellent location.. I highly recommend staying here!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I took my two adult children (early 20's) to Savannah for a few days before Christmas. This condo was simply awesome and absolutely prefect for our needs. I originally was planning on two hotel rooms on Bay Street so we could be in the middle of everything, this turned out to be much better for about the same price. The location is incredible, it was so nice to just step out of the condo and do whatever with just a short walk, visit the riverfront, eat at City Walk, shop everywhere, and drink some of the best beer I have had in awhile (Moon River and World of Beers.) My daughter and I worked out both days on a day pass at a gym one block away, Fitness on Broughton, which also has a dynamite cafe, Kayak Cafe, great fish tacos. I could go on, but no need, you get the idea, this condo makes Savannah one of the best getaways we have ever had.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I wanted to take our artistic teens to Savannah to experience something that they don't get to enjoy everyday. This was a very convenient location to stay for biking, shopping, walking, River St, etc... We were so close to everything we wanted to do and see. There was even a bike rack beyond the lobby which came in very handy. Michael was very gracious with us in several areas. We had an amazing time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I live in Southern California and am scheduled to visit Savannah with my husband and daughter in about a week and a half. The unit that I booked a month ago was under renovation and the owner contacted me yesterday to say it wouldn't be ready in time for our visit. I got on line last night and started to looking for an alternative. I contacted the owner of this rental and she called me first thing this a.m. She offered me two alternative locations and even offered a discounted rate considering my situation. In the end, the units were larger than what we needed but I very much appreciated Karen's willingness to help us out...even though she didn't have to. I hope everyone in Savannah is as nice as Karen! I've never stayed at this place but it really does look lovely and Karen is definitely accomodating. Happy Travels!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/6

My friend and I booked this condo to attend music festival in March. Unfortunately, 3 wks before, one of us had emergency in family and we could not go. I contacted Michael and explained the situation. He was so sympathetic and understanding and agreed that if another renter could be found, we would receive refund. Another renter was found and Michael immediately sent our refund. We are so grateful and will definitely call him again when returning Savannah.-Kudos Michael-Pat M.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I along with another couple enjoyed a lovely weekend in Savannah. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Much cheaper than the hotels in the area, plus we saved even more by taking advantage of the great kitchen to make breakfast and lunch. The loft was walking distance to many restaurants and Savannah attractions...super convenient. The place was very clean and Mike was great! Thanks againDid you find this review helpful?
