Home is beautiful, spacious, clean and well maintained. Photos are accurate. Owner, Dana, is pleasant and responds to requests quickly. Location is easy walk to 3 beaches, Shipwreck, Brennecke and Poipu, along paved path. Easy walk to Hyatt. Area is quiet. I recommend the house without reservation and would return again.

My wife, myself and inlaws stayed for a week or so there and I must say we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. The place had everything you could want to make your vacation a great one. It had snorkeling gear as well as other ammenities. Good size rooms for all parties to sleep in and the location could not have been better. We look to stay here again. I hope it will be available. So for future visitors, be smart and stay here. Awesome and beautiful. Thank you for making my vacation unforgettable. Sean Q.

Beautiful location, comfortable sleeping and great ammenities! This was a perfect vacation spot. It felt like home. I would recomend this house to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation. Only minutes from the beach walking. It was close to great restaurants but set up to accomodate anyone wanting to cook at home as well. Nice grill on the lanai and a kitchen stocked with anything you might need to cook with. We will be back for sure!

The home is amazing. Perfect location in Poipu. Walking distance to the Hyatt and various beaches. We traveled with small children and the house was fully stocked with toys, towels, games and the kitchen has everything (and more) that we needed to cook wonderful meals each night. The lanai is fantastic for children also - fully enclosed with a grassy area that is safe. I can't say enough good things about the house and the owners who fully took care of us. Thank you and we'll be back!

Very attractive and nicely furnished three bedroom house that family of four very much enjoyed. High end furnishings and numerous extras made this our favorite Kauai place to stay. Close to Hyatt This was our fourth trip to Kauai and we would highly recommend this property. Owners were extremely easy to work with and we look forward to returning soon. Bubba's Burgers and Pizzeta highly recommended restaurants. A+++++

We recently spent a week here with our family of 7. The home was perfect for our family and enjoyed by all. The patio on the greenbelt was so nice for relaxing and watching the sunrises. The home was in perfect order and decorated nicely. Master suite was very nice and all the beds were comfortable. Short walk to the beaches. Nice grill on the patio and other comforts such as beach equipment were provided. We would highly recommend this to all ages.

We have stayed numerous times at this lovely vacation home. The floor plan is really wonderful for families and entertaining or just relaxing. The large lani has a pleasant, relaxing outlook on the greenbelt with lovely furniture and a great barbeque. This home is furnished beautifully and well equipped so you will feel right at home. The home is located on the Poipu Beach Resort property and is spotless and well maintained. You are just a short walk to the pool or beach. The beaches here are the best on Kauai. Even beach equipment is furnished so you can start your vacation ready to go! Shopping is close by. So everything is ready for a wonderful vacation. Know we will be back again. Aloha

This house is "ideal" in every way. Just minutes walking distance to all the best beaches, beautifully decorated and outfitted both inside and out with beach gear.Great for 2 couples or family. Owner has addressed every detail for a perfect vacation full of Aloha Spirit. We've rented houses for 30 years and truly found this one "perfect". We'll be back and so will you. Enjoy!

This was the perfect house. WE had 3 couples staying and there was plenty of room. Love that the bedrooms are separated from the living space - those that want to stay up later don't bother those wanting to sleep - loved it. Beaches were really close so you realy don't need a car. Also had several restaurants within walking distance. There was absolutely no down side. Great !!!!!

From the moment we walked in the house we felt right at home. The location was ideal with easy access to all. It was spotless and looked just like the pictures, even better! The kitchen was appointed with everything a cook could want. We like to cook and were pleased to find a great gas barbacue on the lanai. This floor plan works well for families. Can't remember this highly enough and look forward to our return. Sincerely, Kris Lundberg and family

We just returned from our second visit to this lovely vacation rental. This is the first time we have ever returned to the same place for a holiday which says a lot about this home. We stayed for two weeks last year and two weeks again this year. We had a great holiday both times! The house is extremely well set up and stocked with all the items needed for your vacation as many other reviewers have mentioned. The owners really make an effort to ensure that everything is top notch and well maintained. I would highly recommend this vacation rental as it is a lovely home and the owners are professional to deal with and obviously take pride in their property. Mahalo Dana and Bob! Also, if you are going to Kauai, Poipu is the place to be! It is central to everywhere and has the best weather compared to the other tourist areas.

We recently stayed at this house and had a fabulous time. The set-up is great for families or several couples. The bedrooms are separate from the main living space which is great if someone wants to sleep while others are up. There's plenty of room - great patio areas (yes 2 different patios). You don't get that in a condo. Walking distance (maybe 5 min. tops) to several beaches and right next door to the Hyatt. There are restaurants in the Hyatt as well as many others which you can either walk to or a very short drive away. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and I will definately be going back.

This house was outstanding! We just got back (our stay was the end of Jan., beginning of Feb. 09). This was our 5th trip to Hawaii, and by far the best house we have rented. It is exceptionally furnished and appointed. It has "top notch" everything - pots & pans, dishes, cooking knives, spices, wine glasses & opener, an extra fridge in the garage, etc., etc., etc. It has been recently remodeled, and it is very attractive and comfortable. It was the first house we have rented on Kauai that had truly comfortable furniture and beds. The location was excellent as well. We were able to go right out the door and go on two hour walks (beautiful scenery) in the AM. Great grocery stores, gift shops, golf, beaches, and activities (zip line, horse back riding) close by. The owners were great to work with also - easy to communicate with and very responsive. I can't say enough about this house - we enjoyed it immensely!!!

Wasn't sure what to expect as there were few pics of this property and we were the 2nd family renting it after the renovation. The reservation was easy through paypal - the owners own several properties and live nearby the property and were available for questions. House was clean and in great shape. It appears to be early 80's vintage but has been updated nicely (probably the renovation). The master bed is verrrry comfortable. The teenagers with us realllllly loved this place. It is large and in an area of $1 million plus houses. The Poipu location is a great spot on the island - not as busy as Lihue but still close to all the sights and activities. Restaurants are limited in this area but Lihue is only 15 min away. This house is in between two beaches with easy access to both (about 1/2 mile from each on a paved path) and there are many others easily drivable. This house is in a resort area and the common grounds are well kept (lawn crews were out all the time keeping things clean). This house is near several scuba/snorkeling shops and bike rentals. Many other activities are nearby. All amenities are provided (cooking gear, satellite TV, DVD, BBQ, beach towels, water toys, snorkel gear, activity flyers) - all you really need is some groceries (grocery store is about 2 miles away) and your clothes to move right in. This house sleeps 7 or 8 and is big enough to accommodate a large group or a couple small families - a good value/night compared to what a couple of hotel rooms would cost for the same size group of people. The house is one level and should be fine for accessibility. My only nits were that the wireless did not work (owner was still working out some kinks after the renovation) and the water heater is too small for more than 3 or 4 people (it runs out quick when everyone comes back from the beach). Note - you WILL need a car for this area. I'd definitely rent this place again.
