Maravilla is the one of most popular family resorts in Destin! Our 2 bedroom is located in the very popular, family-friendly resort, Maravilla. It is open and airy with an extra-large balcony off the living room and master bedrooms. You will love the white sand beach that is just footsteps away.
You will be pleasantly surprised by all the 'extras' in our home that you would not normally find in a rental unit. No need to pack up your porta-crib, high chair, or sand toys, we have them all! Our large second floor condo is a great place for a family to use alone or to share with friends.
Master Bedroom and Bathroom
The Master suite has a King size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, night stands, reading lamps, and HDTV. There is a sliding glass door with an attached balcony off the master bedroom. The sliding doors have custom room darkening drapes (so you can sleep in or take an afternoon nap while on your vacation). The attached full bathroom has a tub/shower combination, hair dryer and large fluffy bath towels.
The Second Bedroom and Bathroom
The 2nd bedroom has a Queen-size bed, with Egyptian cotton sheets, night stands, reading lamps, HDTV. The second bathroom is easily accessible from the hall and features a tub/shower combination, hair dryer and large fluffy bath towels.
Living Area
In our main living area we have a very comfortable queen size sofa sleeper, loveseat and side chair with reading lamps nearby. We also have an HDTV with digital cable channels, a DVD player and an iPod docking station stereo.
Kitchen and Dining Area
Our kitchen is also fully equipped with a coffee maker, a blender that will grind all of your ice for frozen drinks, and a toaster. Also we have more than 12 plates, glasses, forks, etc. so you don't have to wash your breakfast dishes before you eat lunch. And plenty of pots and pans so you can easily cook anything you need. The Dining area features a table and chairs and a breakfast bar with chairs.
Other Features Included
For your convenience, we also have a washer and dryer, and iron and ironing board. And if you would like to keep up with friends, family or work while you are away, we provide free high-speed internet and WIFI.
Also, to make your walk to the beach easy, we provide 2 beach chairs and an umbrella reserved and set up each day just for you. (Mar 15-Oct 15)
Lastly, our condos are pet friendly! Any size dogs are welcome (yes, that means we welcome even large dogs). The dog walking area is just outside our door. There is a $200 extra fee to bring your dog along and must be pre-approved by the owner.
Maravilla Resort Amenities
Maravilla is the one of the most popular family resorts in Destin. It’s a low-density resort (only 4 stories which means fewer people on the beach!) It has a 2-acre PRIVATE beach and plenty of green space for the kids to run and play safely. Maravilla also features two swimming pools (one heated), a hot tub, BBQ grills, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and a basket-ball hoop. Centrally located on Scenic Gulf Drive (near the outlet mall and Pompono Joe's), it is very close to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping.

Christine & Tom, I meant to email you right away to let you know how wonderful our time was at your condo, but time has gotten away from me. Better late than never! We had the BEST time in Maravilla/Destin. The resort and condo was even better than I expected. I felt that Maravilla was one of the nicest resorts in Destin. I loved the easy access to the ocean...I was nervous about having to cross a street, but it turned out to be absolutely no big deal and was just a 5 minute walk from the condo. I loved the beach service (chairs/umbrellas) each day too. The beach is absolutely beautiful and even though we were there with spring breakers, it was never too crowded or loud. Our boys (ages 3, 10, 12) had a wonderful time and were happy to just play at the beach all day. When we were there in March it was chilly some of the time, but the fact that Maravilla had a HEATED pool, it didn't matter. We could not believe how warm the pool was. It was great! Speaking of the pool, it was a very nice pool - very large and the surrounding deck area and hot tub was very nice. We never made it to the other pool, but it looked very nice and was neat that it was almost overlooking the ocean. We loved the grounds of the resort - basketball court, open field, etc. The condo was just beautiful! We had EVERYTHING we needed there (i.e. kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies). The decor is perfect and it was very clean. The deck is huge and the master bed was THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and I didn't think my own mattress could be beat :) We were very comfortable in this condo and would stay here again for sure. Working with Christine beforehand was great - she was very responsive to all of my questions and even took the time to talk about things on the phone. I very much appreciated the list that was provided prior to our stay with information about the condo/resort AND suggestions for things to do while in Destin. We tried every tip and were not disappointed! Pompano Joe's IS the best place to eat (get the coconut shrimp - one of the best meals I've ever had) and make sure to go to Shrimpers for (shoot, I may get this wrong) Red King Shrimp - tastes just like lobster. This was the first time we've taken a vacation with 7 full nights away from home. We relaxed and enjoyed our kids and enjoyed every moment! I HIGHLY recommend this resort and Maravilla. We loved the condo and would not hesitate to go back.. It .was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Close to shopping and the beach was just across the street a short walk. We loved the fact that we could bring our little dog with us , since we stayed for 2 months could not leave him behind. We loved the pool and all the people we met had a great time.. The complex was very clean and had a lot of nice walking with the bike path and neighborhoods close by. . The beach was absolutely beautiful!!! Enjoyed everything about our stay...!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

Having never been to Destin, we were unsure of what to expect. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! The accommodations were beautiful and so comfortable. We were immediately impressed with how clean and well maintained the property was. The beds were heavenly! The condo was perfectly located- close to the heated pool, exercise facility and basketball courts, just a short walk to the beach. We found everything we needed in close proximity- grocery, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're planning to return next spring! This spot is a true home away from home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had an awesome time. The condo was beautiful and had absolutely everything we needed. We had 4 teenagers with us so being close to the beach and the pool was essential. They loved being able to come and go and not need a key. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Plus we were able to entertain some dear friends that live in the area. We also loved the fact that we could bring our dog Tucker too!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was a great location, awesome, new decor, and pet friendly. It was very well-stocked with everything we needed, and was very clean. I would definitely stay in this unit again in a heartbeat. My family enjoyed this freshly decorated unit. It was very clean, well maintained, and had everything needed for a great stay. We've stayed at the Maravilla property several times and this unit is our favorite. I have to say the great decor first won me over, but the attention to detail didn't end there! These owners have thought of everything! The kitchen is especially well stocked and encouraged us to cook more meals than we had planned, so our budget when we ate out was expanded. And their list of suggestions for the area restaurants and other outings were spot on! The short walk from the unit to this beautiful private beach was just enough to be perfect for a little excercise, but never too far to be inconvenient. Tom and Christine were always available for any questions we had beforehand and during our stay. We would gladly rent from these owners again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great Condo, really CLEAN!! that is ery important to me. It has everything that you need from towels to every utelsil in the kitchen..We also found some kids stuff for the sand that was great.. i really liked how close was from everything the beach,shops restaurants etc,.. it was awesome to that you can bike,run and is right there in front of the beach. i really recomend this beautifull condo to anyone. we will be back!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was one of the cleanest condos, my family and i had ever stayed in. The resort was a great family oriented resort very quite and just a short walk across the street to the beach. I highly recommend this resort the owners were very nice and helpful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This place was awesome! About the owner: Hi, We're Tom, Christine, Zachary our two dogs Trumpet and Piccolo. (People always ask--no dogs are not Golden Retrievers; they are Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.)
Why the Owner Chose Maravilla:
We purchased our condo in Destin because we wanted a place for our family to gather and build fond family memories. We love Maravilla so much that when the condo right next door came up for sale, we decided to purchase another one!
We live in Austin, Texas now (we bought our Marvailla Condo when we lived in Atlanta, GA.) While living in Atlanta we would visit Destin every chance we could. Now that we are much further away, we have to plan our trips. But are looking forward to retiring in Destin someday!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
While it may not be your deciding factor when you are choosing places to rent, you will appreciate it once you get here. Most everything you’ll need during your stay is here! Our guests who stay with us comment on how well equipped our condo is.
Because we live so far away, we take special care to make sure everything is in perfect condition.
It’s imperative that we have the best help there in Destin. We employ a housekeeper who only cleans for a couple of people. We do not use one of those massive cleaning companies who dash in and out of the condo in 15 minutes and call it clean. Our housekeeper takes hours to clean our condo (yes the cleaning fee is $10-$20 more than you’d pay with others but we ensure it’ll be really clean!)
Every time we visit our condo, we are constantly upgrading!
