In early April, the roar of Grand Prix race cars echoes through the city streets of Long Beach (just a mile north) during the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Weekends host a Farmers Market in the nearby Alamito’s Bay Marina-and don’t miss the nearby Aquarium of the Pacific at Shoreline Village, at the foot of Pine Street in Long Beach.
