Why the Owner Chose Livingston
Livingston is a beautiful area, and gateway to Yellowstone. As a town, it has great contrasts of lively and quiet, charming and rugged, extremely picturesque and practical, historic and hip. The specific location of the guest house is ideal in that it's just a few blocks from the heart of downtown galleries, cafes, restaurants, etc., but it is quiet and also within a five minute walk of the Yellowstone River. Just up the road... Paradise Valley and the Park.
The Unique Benefits at this Historical Brick Building
Urban modern loft-style meets mountain west and historic setting. Everyone who visits is taken by the home's uniqueness and elegance. It's really one of a kind for the area, and in our second year, we are already having a lot of returning guests.
A few attractions: The train depot in town was built and designed by the same men who built Grand Central in NYC. Now a museum, this is where Yellowstone's first visitors all passed through. Speaking of Yellowstone, it's only 40 miles up the road; the drive will take you through the Paradise Valley. The Yellowstone River is about five blocks from the guest house. Cook your catches in the fab' kitchen, dine/watch movies in the 'wine room' den, soak in the jetted tub, tell stories in the open living room... have a great time.
