  Found the cottage to be comfortable and cozy. Wasn't far to local attractions, restaurants and such. We had a rainy day, but that worked out great as we needed to visit the mall and get a prom gown for our daughter. We spent most of our time just relaxing on the beach or at the cottage, but did visit Ponce Inlet; the lighthouse, park, marine science center, and the very characteristic Hidden Treasure Bar & Grill.   It could be 1937 when the little cottage we visit was built up high so they could see the ocean to say Hello each day. The time has come for us to return to our family…but we will return time and again…Our visit to your Beach home is coming to an end. We leave tomorrow morning. We have enjoyed each moment of our time here. Your cottage is lovely.

  This is the 2nd time we have rented this cottage and we love it...Will rent again for vacation next year..

  My family had the greatest vacation! The house was perfectly located only a block from the beach and right in the middle of everything! We could not have asked for anything better! This was our first, but defiantly not our last trip to Florida as a vacation spot. I would highly recommend staying here! The owners we very nice easy to does business with and james was great! We had a very late arrival and everything was waiting for us when we arrived just as promised! Owners were quick to refund the security deposit! (thanks!) Thanks again!

  If you want to stay in a home that you would love to call your own, this is it. Wake up in the morning to opening the shutters throughout the hometown let the sun shine in. Take an outdoor private shower with the sun as your lightbulb! Enjoy the relaxation of a soak in the pool while sipping on your afternoon cocktail. Barbque your steaks on the grill or visit The Garlic restaurant in Smyrna or travel up north along A1A and eat across from the beach at The Golden Lion in Flagler. This home has just about everything you want. It's down the block from the beach. You can walk, but beach access is easier if you take the car and drive and park behind your blanket. Everything you need for the beach is at the cottage! Close to shopping. We stopped at the store prior to arrival for staples etc. there are kitchen spices, sugar, there. I think we tend to leave little necessities behind for the next guest. So looking forward to visiting again next year! Beach decor all over and it's even better than the pictures! Enjoy!

  The cottage: More beautiful than the pictures depict. We enjoyed the spacious layout and nostalgic treasures and heirlooms of yesterday found throughout the cottage. The cottage felt like home with measurements of the children on the door frames and a couple junk drawers (lol). The girls 10,13 and 3 all enjoyed the outdoor shower. The third bedroom is in the "basement" but after a couple nights the girls overcame their fear and willingly hung out there. In the early morning you can smell the flowers while sitting on the deck which I enjoyed with a cup of tea and journal in hand. There is also ample beach toys to choose and pick from as well as beach bikes. Bikes are a bit rusty but they are still the coolest bikes I ever saw and rode. A lot of thought was put into this cottage to make it comfortable and we absolutely LOVED it. James...is awesome and very helpful. Recommendations for guests: Tuesday movies at the boardwalk are $5. Joe's Crab Shack is delish making the hour wait worth it. We metered park for $1/hr closer than garage parking. Bubba Gump's has a Forest Gump theme and the waitress does a trivia so it might be nice to watch the movie before going. My husband wasn't happy with his meal but the Shrimper's heaven was DELISH!! Also bring a camera because there is a bench where you can sit with a suitcase and box of chocolate prop complete with Forest's sneakers because "Mama always said, life is like a box of chocolates." Daytona Lagoon was fun for all ages even grandma and the 3 yr old had a blast. bring a resident and save $. The go-kart's were awesome and slightly better than the ones on the boardwalk. The beach was our main hang out. We enjoyed morning bike rides along the shore. The pier has a dated arcade and limited rides but it's a nice experience with the kids.

Sounds like all of you did a lot around Daytona. We keep replacing and repairing the bikes and apologize for the rust. Unfortunately its apart of the salt air as it ages things so fast.   Our family very much enjoyed our time in Daytona. This house was in excellent condition and helped our family have an extra special time. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Daytona. Very coordinated ownership and caretaker.

  Drawn from the very beginning of seeing the cottage on VRBO, we were not disappointed! Our family thoroughly enjoyed playing the baby grand piano, bike rides through the neighborhood and to the beach, and my personal favorite, drinking coffee each morning on the back porch overlooking the private garden. In addition, this cottage is well-supplied with anything you may need, right down to the beach-towels! Other than an excessive bleach problem with the pool & the reason for a 4 out of 5 stars (which we do not feel is a normal occurance & the owners were checking into to correct), our family had a wonderful vacation, loved the cottage, and would love to stay there again. Thank you for sharing your home-away-from-home!

  I was immediately drawn to the cottage on the hill! Once we arrived, I was not disappointed. No doubt, we would be close friends if we lived near one another. Thanks for sharing your sweet home away from home with others. We would definitely recommend this property to others!

  We had a great time staying here! Everything was just perfect! The house has such a great feel and is fully stocked with almost everything we could possibly need. There were toys for the kiddo, bikes for the boys, beach towels, pots, pans, serving bowls... We were just sorry that we didn't get to spend more time relaxing at the house... we were so busy with my sister's wedding. Thank you so much for everything!

Additional people up to the maximum are subject to a $25.00 USD per night per additional person rate.

Payment Terms: Major credit cards accepted via PayPal. 50% of the Grand Total is due and payable at the time of the reservation. The balance will be due and payable 30 days prior to check in (unless otherwise stated). Should your dates be less than 30 days away then we would require the full payment in order to reserve. Reservation is not confirmed until all balances are paid in full.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

Taxes: Taxes are not included in the rates. The taxes are 12.5% FL tax.

Security Deposit: $250.00 USD Security/Damage deposit that is refunded within a few days of your rental departure.

Cleaning: A one time departure cleaning is included in the rental for stays of 4 nights or more.
