Our beautiful home has been completely transformed with the addition of a NEW 2 bedroom wing and is now available to rent in two separate configurations. Choose the option that best suits your vacation needs! Our main home is a spacious 3 BEDROOM, 2 BATH house, perfect for parties of 1 to 6 people. For reunions, weddings, vacations with your extended family or any other group of up to 16 people, choose our 5 BEDROOM, 3 BATH option to accommodate your large group in comfort.
We are conveniently located on the 8th hole of the beautiful De Anza Country Club, which, for the first time ever, has now been opened to the public, and thus to our guests!
There are stunning mountain and desert views from every room in our home, as well as from the spa, pool, and our large, completely private, exquisitely landscaped backyard.
The whole house has a light, airy, comfortable feeling with many large windows and glass doors framing beautiful desert vistas. Brand new mostly travertine tile floors are found in the foyer, kitchen, dining area, bathrooms hallways, and annex bedrooms, with plush new carpeting in the living room and main home bedrooms.
The private 40' pool in the back has decorative fountains and in-pool lights as well as an attached spa. The exterior of the house is lushly landscaped with palms, cacti, olives, and several varieties of citrus trees.
*****THE 3 BEDROOM + 2 BATH HOME*****
Our MASTER SUITE has a comfortable king sized bed, a twin daybed with trundle, and features a spa tub and separate glass shower, a walk in closet, and a private exit to the backyard, pool, and spa. A flat screen television completes this restful suite.
The TWO ADDITIONAL BEDROOMS are furnished with queen sized beds and share a bathroom with double sinks and a tub and shower combination. (Hint: if you are vacationing with CHILDREN, check out the stash of games and toys in the hall cabinets between these two bedrooms)
Our expansive KITCHEN has deep granite counter tops and all new appliances including a microwave, dishwasher and even a trash compactor.
The LIVING ROOM has panoramic views of the golf course and mountains as well as a flat screen HDTV, TiVo and DVD for your viewing enjoyment. Centered in the room is a spectacular wood burning fireplace, perfect for gathering around on winter evenings. The home also has high-speed wireless internet access.

Rent our just completed south wing along with the main home and you will have 5 bedrooms and 3 baths to accommodate your large group. In addition to the entire 3 bedroom, 2 bath home described above, you also get:
THE KING SUITE, which features a king bed, a day bed and an additional trundle bed, to sleep up to 4.
THE QUEEN SUITE features a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a sliding glass door that provides a beautiful view of the courtyard and direct access the the pool, spa, and yard. The bottom bunk in this room can be configured as a sofa sitting and relaxing or pull it out to create a full bed and sleep up to 5 in this room.

Spent a week here with my family of five. Very nice accommodation and the secluded yard/pool area is outstanding. Heating the pool with propane is quite expensive, but we just heated the hot tub for a few hours a day and enjoyed it immensely at night. The hot tub, the stars and an adult beverage made for real holiday evenings. Heating the hot tub cost about $400 for the week, but was well worth it. No hassle, fine accommodation. I highly recommend this place for a medium to larger group.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

Unfortunately we can't control the price of propane, but over the summer we installed more solar panels to boost the power of our solar pool heating system, which guests can use for free. We hope you'll get the chance to return and try it out!

About the owner: We are retired with 3 children and five grandchildren. We bought and remodeled this home for them, and as an eventual retirement location for ourselves. Our goal was to create a quiet, luxurious base camp from which to enjoy the hiking, biking, golf and warmth the three generations of our family all love. Until we start hogging the place for ourselves all winter, we've been renting to families and groups, large and small (from 1 to 14 so far).
Why the Owner Chose Borrego Springs:
Borrego is Palm Springs without the people. Almost the same today as 40 years ago. Best winter hiking and biking anywhere, nearest stoplight 50 miles away, yet only 1-2 hours to everything San Diego, Palm Springs, and even LA have to offer. We loved it when we mooched off my aunt when we were in grad school, our kids loved it when we visited grandpa 20 years ago, and we fly here all the way from Maryland because we still love the quiet beauty of the Anza-Borrego desert, and the comfort of dry warmth and our beautiful new home when it is ice cold in the Maryland mountains.
