The house is on a beautiful tree lined street just 3 blocks from Kitsilano Beach. The surrounding park boasts a 110 meter, Saltwater, Outdoor Swimming Pool; 8 tennis courts; plenty of space for picnicking and playing games; and Watermark, a Waterfront Fine Dining Restaurant and Bar with the Best Sunset View in the City. The Vancouver Museum; Space Center; Maritime Museum; Aquabus, (a tiny boat that takes you across False Creek); and a pickup point for the Vancouver Trolley Tours (hop on, hop off) are all located in Vanier Park, just 2 blocks from the house. In summer, the Shakespeare Festival "Bard on the Beach" also sets up its tents there.
