The house is a fully authentic historic adobe home built in the 1860's and has been in the family since that time. So close to downtown Santa Fe, it is extremely attractive, private and exclusive. It has served those escaping to further experience their creative side such as artists, art collectors, writers, chefs, movie industry people, and professionals looking to be within walking distance to everything that Santa Fe has to offer without the need to find parking, yet remain incognito to their personal and professional interests.
What better way to experience one of the most beautiful and culturally profound cities in the world ,saving $300 to $500 A NIGHT in hotels. There have been many interesting stories passed down about the house . The most interesting is that in the early 1860's the house was used by the govt soldiers while they built the original Fort Marcy. In 1957, the building was identified by the New Mexico State Preservation Office as an important asset of the historic district because of it's architectural, historic and cultural significance historic district has been Listed in the national register of historic places in the United States.
The house is just a 4 minute walk from downtown Santa Fe . With great feelings and love for the greatest city in the world we extend to you our humble casa. Most people that come to Santa Fe and leave know what I'm talking about. They become enthralled with the beauty and culture of Santa Fe. Our centuries old multiculturalism of native American, Spanish colonial, Anglo , and now multicultural influences of the world weave themselves masterfully in day to day life.
The house offers a secluded and private romantic setting that is truly authentic and rare in Santa Fe today. It sits back unseen like a house in the in a old part of Europe.
NEED A PLACE TO STAY CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN WHILE WORKING OR JUST EXPERIENCING THE BEST OF SANTA FE, Remember it's only a four minute walk to the plaza. Because of the special residential location, "We insist that the privacy and respect of our neighbors be upheld and the quality of the house be maintained".
