"The LAST RESORT" is one of Mentone's most unique rentals. We are located on the brow of Lookout Mountain, 5 miles south of downtown Mentone and 3 miles north of DeSoto State Park. Only 45 minutes from Chattanooga, TN.

We provide individual gas grills,hot tubs, all linens, hair dryers,irons, coffee/sweeteners/creamer,and all utensils. And will ALLOW small dogs under 15lbs for extra fees. Just bring clothes and food and sit back and enjoy. All units have access to the large outdoor courtyard, complete with seating, pond, fountain, other water features, and outdoor fireplace.

The LODGE is the main home located on the edge of the mountain brow and have a year round view of the valley and Sand Mountain with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths,2 living areas with 2 satelite TV's, 1 1/2 kitchens, wireless internet.. Sloping driveway provides easy access into the entry level of the Lodge. with no "steps". Walk inside to find the living area with large glass and stained windows to see the beautiful view of the mountains and sunsets.."Dish" TV, woodburning stove in the living area,and full sleeper sofa. This level has a full kitchen with stainless appliances with dishwasher, coffee pot, small appliances and all utencils needed to cook large meals, with dining table that sits 4-6 plus 2 person bar. Continuing on this level with no steps into the 1st queen bedroom and 1st full bath.
Upstairs level has king bed master bedroom, double vanity/dressing room, double-head tiled shower and separate 2 person jacuzzi tub and washer/dryer for your use..
Lowest terrace level has 3rd queen bedroom suite with a gas fireplace in sitting area and 2nd TV, a kitchenette with convection/microwave, small frig, coffee pot,gas grill, is suitable for making small meals. 4th full bedroom and 3rd shower bath. Enjoy the lights of the valley below all night from the queen bedroom suite.
The Lodge has lots of deck space with rockers, swing, chairs to sit and enjoy your cup of coffee or glass of wine with friends, central air/gas heat. And a large 6 person out door hot tub below the courtyard for your enjoyment.
All this with all lodging taxes for only $269/night Friday, Saturdays, holidays, and special events OR $239 Sun-Thursday nights. $100 security deposit and $75 clean fees apply.
Two night minimum on weekends but one nights stays during the week is ok. Weekly rate of $1,500.

We are located off I-59 exit #231.(follow Desoto State Park signs) Follow Hwy 117 south to top of the mountain and the only caution light in downtown Mentone, turn South onto Co. Rd. 89 drive about 5 miles till you see our lighted sign on the right .
