You can find our place as soon as you enter the Highway 1 gate right off of 17-Mile drive.
When you arrive open the blinds, lay on the three-section sofa and float away. It is a place to relax, unwind and forget the world outside.

My parents and I had a 10 day vacation in the Monterey area, and after some digging around, we ultimately picked this place.. Location wise, this place is a 10 minute drive to anywhere: the shops and restaurants at Carmel by the Sea, the countless gorgeous golf courses in the area including Pebble Beach, supermarkets for those daily needs (breakfast supplies, etc.). The house has a huge, relaxing U-shaped sofa that is perfect for lounging around after a day's exercise outside. They have a nice fireplace (we did not need it), but it's there if you need it. Everything was clean and well kept, and the owners are easy to reach should you need any assistance. If I return to Monterey, I know where I want to stay!

Friends and I rented the house for a wedding in Carmel over a weekend. It was a bit hard to find (we didn't heed Jonathan's advice and arrive before sundown. There are no streetlights; so if you're arriving late carry a flashlight. Once we did find it, we were very pleasantly surprised! All of us agreed, the pictures did not do it justice! It was comfortable and spacious with all that you need for a weekend stay. A much better deal than a lot of the hotels in the area, and a lot more space to get ready and later relax! For those looking to explore the coast - Big Sur, Point Lobos, the location is perfect. (We didn't have time for that, but we'll be back!) Also, perfect location for Big Sur Marathon runners.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
