We had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful and so clean. The view from any window was out of this world. We saw elk in the driveway one evening. I would stay here again. I never wanted to leave and was so sad when our time was over. We made many wonderful family memories here. We will be back.

This was the perfect vacation home. It was private & secluded. Very clean and well-maintained. Our dog loved the yard and napping on the deck in the sun. Fabulous location - very quick drive into town, but we really felt miles away from everyone. I only wish it could be available more...it must be absolutely gorgeous in winter. I've already recommended it to friends and would definitely come back. Susan & Tim have a beautiful, cozy home. Thank you for sharing it with us!

What a great choice this was. We were very surprised with the amount of thought and attention to detail that these people put in to this cabin to make it such an enjoyable stay. THE CABIN HAS EVERYTHING !...... When first deciding on renting this cabin we spoke to Susan who was so kind and helpful providing accurate information about the cabin and the surrounding area. Our experience got better and better from that moment. The payment and check-in process is very upfront and done with a small town feel. THe cabin is in excellent condition, and has so many amenities and small surprises to make the stay enjoyable. This is a must stay cabin. What can they do better?.... I would have a book for guests to write in and tell about their stay and where they came from. would be interesting to read.... Otherwise the cabin was perfect.

My husband and I spent a week in Colorado without the kids and split our week between the Rocky Mountain Natl Park and the Colorado Springs/Cripple Creek area. We decided to stay in this great home with all of the amenities. Though it is around 45min from Manitou Springs/Pikes Peak it is only a few minutes to Cripple Creek and around an hour to Canon City's Royal Gorge so you are really in the middle of many things. The house is nicely furnished and very clean. Susan was super to work with. The only caution is staying at over 9000ft if you are not used to the altitude. Since we had been in CO 5 days prior to arriving we really didn't have many issues with this. It would be great for two couples, a large family or like us, just the two of us. Enjoy!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, and my family would go back anytime! It is very isolated and quiet, with exquisite views. The decor is so fitting for the area, and we enjoyed having the extra space vs getting a hotel room. We sat on the spacious deck everyone morning and evening. It is a bit of a drive from major towns, but very worth it!

This is a great place - the house is very nice and the deck and hot tub were very enjoyable. We took our two small dogs and the huge fenced yard (with chicken wire) worked perfectly. The outdoor fire pit was great to sit out at night and enjoy a cocktail on the deck while gazing at the stars. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a great time at the cabin. The view from the hot tub was amazing! The large wrap around porch was perfect for cooking out and socializing. We enjoyed the candy shop in town and some gambling one evening. We also liked that it wasn't too far to Mueller State Park. The pipes/heater in the downstairs area were a bit noisy, but you get used to it.

The Home was very nice and the views and privacy are great on our first night we saw 4 large elk and the end of the road leading to the house. The house does sit off highway 67 about 1.5 miles but the drive is easy. One thing you do need to know is there is no phone and our AT&T phones didn't work and neither did a Tracphone but we went to Walmart in Woodland Park and bought a Verizon pre-paid phone and it works fine at the house but between Divide and the house is a dead zone, just thought you should know so you can make arragnements for a phone that works. Also the house has a 1,500 gallon water cistern so you need to watch how much water you do use daily. All this said we are planning a trip for Janurary in 2010 so we can enjoy the snow, this a beatuiful home and has been taken well care of you will enjoy your stay just as we did.

The house is beautiful and the property and view of Pikes Peak are breath taking! We enjoyed every moment we spent at the house both inside and out. The hot tub is an added bonus! The house accomodated the 6 of us perfectly and we would definately recommend this house to everyone.
