"Remembrance at The Water's Edge" - "La Souvenance au Fil De L'eau" is an elegant and refined house with a rose-filled garden in a quiet cul-de-sac by the river. The rooms are spacious and commodious with the living room and master bedroom leading through Frenchdoors to the terrace which overlooks the garden and the river.

This is where guests can enjoy lunch and cocktails, in an atmosphere both vibrant and serene. The second bedroom has a four poster antique double bed. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, antique carpets and mirrors, and a view of the river. Also a new entrance hall leads to a charming new bedroom loft with a single bed with a chest of drawers, armoirs, and a lovely view of the mountains.The magic of the house is in the unique setting. A touch of drama,great comfort and easy access.

Our guests can feel quite at home in this lovely setting, watch the duck play and grow and listen to the birds, in quiet passtimes. The home is beautifully furnished, it is finely and comprehensively equipped. La Souvenance is located two minutes stroll away from the center of town, and just ten minutes by car from the AutoRoute; a highway to all the worthwhile sights in Provence.

L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue is a tranquil yet sophisticated "Little Venice" with the River Sorgue meandering through the countryside and the town. It is a mecca for antiques and has 600 world-renowned antique shops and specialty markets. Its idyllic surroundings offer a perfect setting for bicycling or walking tours in a countryside that is a joy to behold. Enjoy dinner in one of the many local restaurants then just stroll back home.

Fish for trout in the river right in front of the house or enjoy wine tastings tours at many of the nearby vineyards. There are also kayaks for rent in town and a golf course within 10 minutes. You can be in Avignon by TGV (bullet train) from Paris in three hours.
