We have stayed here the last 3 years for our families to gather each year for our vacation. Great spacious home with super location!! Love the layout, pool area and short walk to beach access which is by the Sea Pines Beach Club. My children, parents, nieces & nephews look forward to this each and every year! Prompt courteous reservations/property managers and super property! We will continue to come back each year!

Great Family Vacation

Our family vacation on Hilton Head was a great time with great memories. Red Cardinal was perfect for our family of 12 the layout of the home the pool and the short walk to the beach club was also outstanding. The plantation golf club and the beach club are just minutes from the property. The home had everything we needed to make our vacation a great time. The beach was perfect we rented umbrella and chairs we ate at the restaurant and had a few drinks at the bar. At the beach club there are public bathrooms and showers. There were a few nights that we walked over to the bar and had a few drink and listen to music. Chris and Gordon who manager the property were also great if you gave them a call for assistance they quickly called you back. Looking forward to booking this property again.

This is a beautiful property in a great locaation. It is a shame that the maintenance is so poor.When we arrived the coffee maker contained moldy coffee grounds. There were many burned out/missing light bulbs throughout the house. The garage was cluttered with several bicycles in various state of disrepair, none working, an old HVAC unit was stored there as well as other sundry items. The area around the sheds where the garbage receptacles were to be stored was absolutely NASTY!! The information in the house stated that there was garbage pickup twice a week. We naver had a garbage pickup the entire week we were there, when we called the contact in mid-week,there was no concern exhibited. The last day we were there the Direct TV receiver apparently went bad and would not turn on, we called the contact about 3:00PM and made a follow-up phone call but didn't receive a response until about 6:30 PM while on our way to dinner, we were told to call Direct TV for a service call. I responded that this should be the responsibility of the property managers as Direct TV would undoubtedly want some sort of payment for a service call. The only TV affected by this outage was the receiver in the main TV room.

Owner response:We have NEVER had a complaint about maintenance on the property. The cleaning company does a fantastic job! We keep plenty of spare bulbs in the laundry room closet in case a bulb burns out as one never knows when a bulb will burn out. As an owner rented property, we store personal effects in the garage and allow guests access and use of our garage during their visit. Trash pick-up is twice a week during the summer season, off season it is picked up once a week. As with any municipal or contracted service, the pick up schedule may vary due to holidays. We respond to every call as promptly as possible with the intention of resolving an issue that may arise. A new Direct Tv box was overnighted to the property per my request that evening.

We Arrived with all the gear and kids for the week and were amazed at all the space and seperation that was available to us in this home. We could be on one level and all the kids were on another . Needless to say the that made the week. The Beach Club is nearby short walk as is a clean sandy beach. The home does have several beach chairs,pool toys ,floats etc so we did not need the ones we came with. The vacation was one of our best and Chris and Gordon our hosts were there for us whenever we had a question or needed some info about the island. AAAAAAA+++++++ all the way! We enjoyed our stay here in the SeaPines location that was close to the Beach Club and a short walk to sandy beach. The owners have done a great job updating all the appliances and new granite tops. The home is spacious and a very open floor plan. we will be coming back to this home again next year.
