Rest and relax with your family at this privately owned historic lake front home with a fantastic view. This home is located on the North Shore of Balsam Lake, a 2054 acre premier fishing and boating lake in Northwest Wisconsin.
The Palmer house was built in the late 1800's. This rental space* is located on the second floor of our family's homestead. It has a private entry way separate from the rest of the home. Large windows cover the living room walls giving you a breath taking view of the lake. While you sit and relax you can watch the Bald Eagles soar overhead and the Loons and Canadian Geese play in the yard.
Out front you can enjoy our large grassy yard suitable for family games, barbecuing, fish frys, catching the sun's rays, or just lounging in the shade. We also have a private dock that is ready to house your boat and jet ski while you stay. Many large fish have also been caught off of our dock. If dock fishing is not your style, set out onto our beautiful lake. In it you will find a large variety of fish including large mouth bass, walleye, brim, and crappie. At night you can enjoy the lake front fire pit and roast marshmallows and hotdogs while you sing by the fire.
