We had the opportunity to stay at Colleen and Frank's golf villa for almost three weeks and we loved every minute of it. It certainly met all our expectations and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. This was our third stay at the golf villas and our first in B1, and it is our favourite. The location suited us; we were able to do lots of walking, snorkelling and swimming. There was lots to do and see close by, and we found that most days we didn't drive very much, if at all. We visited some favourite places; beaches, restaurants and activities, and also found some new ones. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would love to return to it soon. Excellent for sure!

Perfect Vacation Home!

This golf villa sits about 30-40 minutes away from Kona. It's a perfect location because it's not too crowded and away from the city. There are awesome snorkeling spots close by and the access to Beach Club was wonderful. Beach Club actually had a really nice snorkeling area and access to its beach with nice cabanas free of charge. The area is quiet with a nice pool. Driving distance to restaurants and sites were not too bad. The house is beautiful with all of the amenities you would need. The rooms and living area were really clean and had a beautiful kitchen so on nights you want to cook a home-cooked meal, you were able to do so! Everything was very comfortable and the decor was modern and chic! Loved the place. My family and I had a great time and we would recommend this place to anyone!!

Great Mauna Lani Getaway ! !

This is a marvelous condo which is even nicer than the fantastic photos indicate. It is an end unit with a fabulous lani on the main floor and upstairs. The condo is immaculately clean and well appointed with all the items you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable; the kitchen is completely furnished with every device and convenience we needed for an enjoyable stay. Absolutely everything was in excellent shape and good working order. Only wish we could have stayed longer than 9 days. The owner (Colleen) was very accommodating and gracious in answering all questions and providing all information with great detail making our arrival and departure easy and efficient. We were accompanied by a couple who we have known for years. They, also, were amazed at the beauty of this condo which is in a quiet, gated location near the Mauna Lani Resort. Our access to the private beach was another plus. The condo comes equipped with everything needed for the beach as well. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. In fact, we plan to return next year, hopefully for a much longer stay.

Even Nicer than the pictures can show

This location has wonderful views of the mountains and golf course. Mornings are wonderful, every day we enjoyed the rising sun on the back patio in the really comfortable cushioned chairs that rock. In fact, we got up earlier in Hawaii to enjoy the birds and sights of the early morning. Overall, this condo is great, we had 6 adults, and everyone enjoyed the home, pool and beach. Thank you!

The perfect Big Island getaway!

We stayed at Frank & Colleen's 3BR condo for 6 nights and didn't want to leave (that goes for the Big Island as well). The condo exceeded our expectations, was impeccably clean with luxurious furnishings and a wonderful layout for families. Having 3 full baths really came in handy after a day at the beach. We really enjoyed access to the Beach Club with it's own beach with great snorkeling. The grounds of the property was beautifully maintained and very quiet at night. Very convenient to both the Mauna Lani shops as well as nearby Waikoloa Village. Looking forward to staying here again in the future. Ricky & Jing

The condo is very well stocked, in a perfect location and very comfortable. The beds are wonderful and access to the best beach on the island is priceless. There were only 2 of us but the condo has plenty of room for 6 more! We'll be back! Thanks too for the chairs and snorkeling gear, we didn't have to worry about anything!

We have just spent 12 wonderfull days at Frank and Colleens' villa at Mauna Lani Golf Villas and couldn't have asked for anything more!!! The condo was spectacular, to say the least... from the very comfortable beds to the every one of the tastefully furnished rooms. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen is available for your convenience. The great outdoor barbeque area allowed for relaxing breakfast and dinners while sitting and watching the sun hit the peaks and hills around Mauna Lea. The beach equipment (boogie-boards, mats, coolers, etc) were definitely a plus as well. The grounds of the Golf Villas are very well maintained.. the pool, just recently converted to salt-water, was clear and refreshing... and lots of chairs for everyone. The beach club was spectacular as well, offering covered beach chairs and chaise loungers. The crystal clear calm waters of the secluded inlet offered up some of the best snorkeling in the area. The Beach House restaurant was handy for a quick snack or a relaxed dinner. The ease of access to other beach areas (Hapuna, Mauna Lea, A-beach, etc), groceries, restaurants and quaint little towns made this the perfect location for a well-deserved getaway. The golf courses at Mauna Lani (north and south) were two of the nicest courses the we have ever had the opportunity to play (both of us are avid golfers). Frank and Colleen were gracious hosts, quick to reply to questions and a pleasure to deal with... we would highly recommend their villa at the drop of a hat.... we have already booked for next November!!! Colleen - Thank you for sharing your gorgeous Golf Villa Condo with us. Everything was perfect! Your spacious end unit provided us with lots of light, a great view, and tons of privacy. The condo was spotless and the furnishings are as comfortable as they are beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and we really enjoyed the pool and the wonderful private beach club. The snorkeling was amazing! We look forward to our next visit and definitely recommend this luxurious condo to anyone looking for a great place to stay on The Big Island. It's even better than the pictures!!

As a family of four, this was a great condo and well-equipped for our month-long stay on the Big Island. This condo is spacious, bright and has beautiful views of Mauna Kea. Its proximity to the best beaches on the island was key for us. It was wonderful to relax at the beach and/or the pool and then head back to the condo for a home-cooked meal. Because of the high speed WiFi, it was very easy for me to work remotely throughout the month, too. I highly recommend this place!

Best Vacation Ever!

We have been to the Golf Villas three times and this was without question the best unit we have ever rented. No upstairs or downstairs neighbors, totally quiet. REALLY good quality mattresses, which I never expect at rental units. Kitchen was actually completely equipped to cook for a family of four, which has never happened to me at other places. Lots of extras. The beach club has great snorkeling and we also liked the Fairmont Orchid beach to rent kayaks and paddleboards and to swim with turtles. They say that they will charge you money to park in the parking lot, but always are then willing to validate for free. Surf lessons for the kids from Surfer Bear (can google him) were the highlight. Actually, I think we had his partner, Jeff. Also, snorkel cruise with Body Glove worked out great. There is a great supermarket in Waikaloa village which is worth the extra drive because the Mauna Lani market is way to expensive. Worth going to are the free Hula shows at the Mauna Lani shops on Monday nights. I guess my final thought is, "Don't be afraid to call the number on the brochure that looks great, but you've never done it before and are afraid of getting ripped off and it's not the kind of thing you would ever try on the mainland and isn't all that just for young people who do extreme sports anyway?" We will definitely try to get this unit again next year!

We had a fabulous stay at the Golf Villas. The condo was absolutely wonderful, beautifully decorated and a great view of Mauna Kia. We had a lovely visit with one of the neighbours and would absolutely love to return for a visit. Colleen, you were fantastic to deal with both via email and over the phone. Your hospitality and friendliness made our Hawaii vacation all that more special. We really enjoyed the pool and beach club, but, particularly, the close access to Hapuna Beach. Thanks again for sharing your home with us - we absolutely loved it!!
