The bungalow, built in 1950, was completely renovated in 2000, but has kept it old Californian charm. A full bathroom remodel was just completed in summer '07.
There is one large bedroom with a CA King and a large Balinese 'Opium Bed' in the living room area which opens onto the deck.
The canal deck has a day bed platform on which you can nibbble, snuggle or just relax and enjoy the canal views. Birds from all over the world migrate here to the nature reserve which the canals have become since being resurrected in the 1990s.
You are also only blocks away from trendy Abbott Kinney, the heart of Venice night life, where you will find unusual shops, fantastic restaurants and sights you can't see elsewhere.
Centrally located to Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood, the Getty Museums and everything else wonderful Los Angeles has to offer, this house is a great base to come home to.
A cozy, quiet spot where you can sleep peacefully at night as there is no street traffic, a rarity in LA! |
